Hyderabad’s love for good biryani and German-engineered cars just got another destination. Škoda Auto India has strengthened its footprint in Telangana with the inauguration of a new customer touchpoint in Raidurgam, Hyderabad, further accelerating the brand’s expansion strategy in Southern India.
Located in one of Hyderabad’s rapidly developing urban hubs, the new sales facility has been launched in partnership with Mody India Cars Pvt. Ltd. and is designed to offer customers a premium and modern retail experience. Spread across 3,200 sq. ft., the showroom can display up to four vehicles and follows Škoda’s global ‘Modern Solid’ design philosophy — which basically means the place looks as polished as a freshly waxed Superb.
With the addition of the Raidurgam outlet, Škoda Auto India now operates 15 customer touchpoints across Hyderabad and Secunderabad, while the brand’s Telangana network has expanded to 19 touchpoints across four cities including Hyderabad, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, and Warangal.
Speaking about the inauguration, Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India, said the new facility reflects the company’s commitment to strengthening its presence in Telangana, which continues to remain an important market for the Czech carmaker.
He added that the growing network allows the company to bring its entire product portfolio closer to customers while ensuring a premium ownership experience. Škoda currently offers models like the Kylaq, Kushaq, Kodiaq, and Slavia in India, catering to a wide spectrum of buyers — from sedan enthusiasts who still believe driving should involve emotion, to SUV lovers who think every speed breaker is an off-road challenge.
Nihar Mody, Dealer Principal, Mody India Cars Pvt. Ltd., stated that the new facility has been designed to provide customers with a premium purchase and delivery experience while showcasing Škoda’s expanding lineup in an engaging environment.
Škoda Auto India has been aggressively expanding its retail footprint over the last few years. The company has grown from over 120 touchpoints in 2021 to more than 330 touchpoints spread across 182 cities nationwide. This expansion forms a key part of the brand’s strategy to improve accessibility and enhance customer experience across India.
As competition intensifies in the Indian passenger vehicle market, expanding dealership and service reach remains critical for global brands. And with Hyderabad continuing to emerge as one of India’s major automotive markets, Škoda clearly doesn’t want customers travelling farther than their nearest chai stop to experience its cars.
