Toyota Bags Top EEPC India Export Award, Reinforces ‘Make in India for the World’ Vision

New Delhi: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has added another polished trophy to its already crowded cabinet, clinching the “Special Trophy for Excellence in Exports of High-Technology Products: Large Enterprise” at the prestigious EEPC India National Awards for Export Excellence.

The recognition, awarded at the 57th edition of the ceremony in New Delhi, celebrates TKM’s standout export performance during the financial year 2024–2025—proving once again that India isn’t just assembling cars; it’s exporting engineering excellence with a Toyota badge.

Organised by EEPC India under the aegis of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the awards spotlight companies that push the boundaries of innovation, global competitiveness, and consistent growth in engineering exports. In simpler terms, it’s where the country’s best exporters come to collect their well-earned bragging rights.

The ceremony witnessed the presence of Nitin Jairam Gadkari, alongside senior government officials and industry leaders, adding both prestige and policy-level gravitas to the occasion.

TKM’s win was driven by its strong export performance across key HS code classifications, combined with a diverse portfolio of high-technology products. Over FY 2024–2025, the company not only ramped up exports but also tightened its grip on global supply chains—essentially ensuring that “Made in India” continues to travel first class across international markets.

Speaking on the achievement, G. Shankara, Chief Strategy Officer at TKM, expressed gratitude, stating that the award reinforces the company’s commitment to the “Make in India for the World” vision. He emphasized that TKM will continue to enhance its export capabilities while contributing to India’s growing stature as a global manufacturing hub.

This latest accolade is not a one-off victory lap. TKM has consistently been recognised at the EEPC India platform in previous years, and this win further strengthens its reputation as one of India’s leading engineering exporters.

In a world where exports often define economic muscle, Toyota Kirloskar Motor seems to be flexing just the right amount—quietly, efficiently, and with the reliability you’d expect from, well… a Toyota.
