Luxury Meets Philanthropy: Bespoke Continental GTC Speed Headlines Record-Breaking Naples Winter Wine Festival Auction
Naples, Fla. – The world’s first bespoke new Continental GTC Speed has found its owner after an exhilarating auction at the 2025 Naples Winter Wine Festival (NWWF), fetching a remarkable $1.7 million for charity. Bentley’s latest grand tourer, designed exclusively for this year’s event, was the highlight of the festival’s 25th anniversary, contributing to a historic total of $34 million raised for the Naples Children & Education Foundation (NCEF)—the most successful auction in the festival’s history.
A Bespoke Masterpiece for a Charitable Cause
Designed by Mulliner, Bentley’s in-house bespoke division, in collaboration with Bentley Naples, the auction lot 45 offered not just a one-of-a-kind Continental GTC Speed, but also an exclusive Monterey Car Week experience for the winning bidder.
This fourth-generation GTC stands apart with a striking Damson exterior, a Dark Grey Metallic fabric roof, and a Light Grey interior roof lining. Inside, a refined pairing of White main hide and Damson secondary hide, accentuated by Silver seat piping, delivers an unmistakably elegant aesthetic. Mulliner’s craftsmanship is further evident in the piano white and Damson-painted veneer, exclusive to this edition. Additional design elements include personalized Naples Winter Wine Festival treadplates, LED welcome lights, and a Moonbeam-painted pinstripe encircling the exterior.
Power and Prestige: Bentley’s Most Advanced Hybrid Yet
This year’s auction also marked a milestone in Bentley’s performance evolution—for the first time, the new Ultra Performance Plug-In Hybrid V8 was made available. Producing a staggering 771 horsepower, this cutting-edge powertrain offers more than 100 additional horsepower compared to its predecessor, launching from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds.
Monterey Car Week: An Unparalleled VIP Experience
Beyond owning this bespoke Bentley, the auction winner will enjoy an exclusive invitation to Monterey Car Week 2025, Bentley’s largest annual event. The package includes:
- Four nights of luxury accommodation at The Inn at Spanish Bay
- VIP access to The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering
- Two tickets to the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance with exclusive access to The Bench hospitality suite
- An invitation to Bentley’s Beach Dinner at Seal Rock Beach
- Entry to Bentley’s Signature Party at the Beach and Tennis Club
Bentley’s Commitment to Philanthropy and Community Impact
The proceeds from this sale directly benefit the Naples Children & Education Foundation (NCEF), which funds essential programs for underprivileged and at-risk children in Collier County, Florida. Over the past 25 years, the NWWF has raised more than $336 million, solidifying its status as one of the world’s most impactful philanthropic wine auctions.
“Bentley Motors is honored to support Bentley Naples in another record-breaking auction for the Naples Winter Wine Festival,” said Jun Watanabe, Senior Director of Sales and Operations at Bentley Americas. “Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond vehicles—it includes fostering stronger communities and supporting future generations.”
Bentley Naples Managing Partner Jason Reidel echoed this sentiment: “We are proud to continue our longstanding partnership with the NWWF and NCEF. Each year, this event allows us to give back to a community that means so much to us.”
A Festival of Luxury, Giving, and Unmatched Elegance
As the 2025 Naples Winter Wine Festival celebrated 25 years of charitable excellence, Bentley’s involvement underscored the event’s fusion of luxury, generosity, and community impact. With a one-of-a-kind grand tourer, a record-breaking auction, and a commitment to shaping a better future, this year’s festival will be remembered as a milestone in both philanthropy and automotive excellence.
