Unveiling the Future: The All-New Opel Grandland Makes a Bold Statement

Rüsselsheim, Germany – Opel has officially launched the highly anticipated Grandland, its latest flagship SUV, which made its world debut this spring in Eisenach. The new model, now available for order, combines cutting-edge electrification with dynamic styling, spacious interiors, and innovative features that set it apart in the competitive SUV market.

The Grandland showcases a striking design, highlighted by the 3D Vizor front fascia with an illuminated Blitz emblem and rear lettering that enhances its modern aesthetic. With a length of 4.65 meters, width of 1.93 meters, and height of 1.66 meters, the new Grandland offers increased dimensions—173 mm longer, 36 mm higher, and 49 mm wider than its predecessor—resulting in greater passenger comfort and cargo capacity. The revamped interior boasts a generous boot space of up to 1,645 liters and improved legroom for rear passengers.

Opel’s innovative STLA Medium platform underpins the Grandland, enabling impressive electric performance with a range of up to 700 kilometers on a single charge. The SUV is available in several electrified configurations, starting with the Grandland Hybrid at €36,400, featuring 48-volt technology, and a plug-in hybrid variant priced from €40,150. The fully electric Grandland Electric, equipped with a 73 kWh battery and offering a range of up to 523 kilometers, starts at €46,750, while a high-performance version with an 82 kWh battery is available from €51,950 (INR 47.31 lakh).

Inside, the Grandland emphasizes driver ergonomics with a user-friendly cockpit featuring a 10- or 16-inch central display and a digital cluster that ensures minimal distractions. Opel’s commitment to comfort is evident in the ergonomically designed seats, certified by Aktion Gesunder Rücken e.V., and the incorporation of recycled materials throughout the interior reflects the brand’s “Greenovation” ethos.

The Grandland also boasts advanced driver assistance systems, including Automatic Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Intelligent Speed Adaptation, and a comprehensive 360-degree camera system. The new Intelli-Lux HD lighting system, equipped with over 50,000 individual elements, enhances nighttime visibility, ensuring safer driving conditions.

With its blend of style, functionality, and sustainability, the all-new Opel Grandland aims to redefine the SUV experience, appealing to eco-conscious consumers without compromising on performance or luxury. The model is available in various trim levels, including “Edition” and “GS,” with options for further customization through additional comfort and technology packages.

Opel’s Grandland not only marks a significant step in the company’s electrification journey but also sets the standard for modern SUVs, combining innovation with practicality and a commitment to sustainability.
