Mumbai: Queens Drive Club, described as India’s first all-women supercar community, made its Mumbai debut on Saturday with a cancer awareness drive flagged off by Chief Guest Mrs. Amruta Fadnavis at Bastian Beach Club, Juhu.
The event brought together more than 70 women from business, entrepreneurship, sport, the arts and other fields for a purpose-led drive that combined luxury automobiles with a public health message. The Mumbai edition marked Queens Drive Club’s first outing in the city, its sixth edition in India and, according to the organisers, its most cause-focused event so far.
Founded by Ritika Jatin Ahuja, Queens Drive Club began as a community for women sharing an interest in supercars and luxury automotive experiences. It has since grown into a network of more than 100 members, with a focus on women’s leadership, camaraderie, shared experiences and social impact. In Mumbai, the engines may have provided the soundtrack, but the larger message was firmly about awareness, early detection and support for cancer patients.
For its Mumbai debut, QDC partnered with Path Foundation and received support from V Care Foundation. Members contributed towards comprehensive cancer treatment, chemotherapy sessions, palliative care and meal support for patients in need. Palliative care refers to specialised medical care aimed at relieving symptoms, pain and stress linked to serious illness.

Extending the initiative beyond the drive, QDC said it is sponsoring one lakh chemotherapy treatments in partnership with Path Foundation, moving the campaign from awareness to direct patient support.
Commenting on the initiative, Chief Guest Amruta Fadnavis said, “It is inspiring to see women come together around a shared passion and use the strength of their community to create a larger impact. Cancer affects families across every section of society, and initiatives that encourage awareness, early detection and conversations around treatment are extremely important. I am delighted to flag off Queens Drive Club’s first Mumbai drive and see its members use their collective voice and influence to support a cause that deserves greater attention.”
Ritika Jatin Ahuja, Founder, Queens Drive Club, said the Mumbai drive reflected the community’s widening purpose.
“QDC started with a simple idea of bringing women together through a shared passion for automobiles, but it has grown into a community with a much larger purpose. Our first Mumbai drive was an opportunity to bring women from different walks of life together while supporting a cause that impacts countless families. Through our association with V Care Foundation and Path Foundation, we wanted to take that purpose a step further and contribute towards meaningful support for those affected by cancer. For us, the drive is as much about the community we are building as it is about the cause we are supporting,” she said.
Sakshi Agrawal, Founder of Path Foundation, said the initiative was designed to encourage wider participation and conversation around cancer care.
“The idea behind this drive was to bring women together around a cause that deserves greater attention, awareness and support. Cancer impacts the lives of patients and their families financially, physically and emotionally. We wanted to create a platform that encourages people to come forward and contribute. A small gesture of support, a conversation, or simply being there for someone can make a meaningful difference. ‘Every act counts’, is the message we hope everyone takes away from this initiative,” she said.
After the drive, participants attended a brunch and panel discussion featuring cancer survivors Chhavi Mittal and Tannishtha Chatterjee. Moderated by Sakshi Agarwal, founder of Path foundation, the discussion focused on lived experiences, the importance of early detection and the need for more open, less stigmatised conversations around cancer.
The event was also attended by several notable personalities, including Seema Singh, Mehreen Gandhi and others, who joined the initiative in support of cancer awareness.
The Mumbai edition was hosted at Bastian Beach Club with support from Ranjit Bindra, Founder, Bastian Hospitality.
Commenting on the initiative, Ranjit Bindra, Founder & CEO, Bastian Hospitality, said, “It gives me great pleasure to be part of such an important initiative. Awareness is where every meaningful change begins, and Bastian Hospitality is grateful to Path Foundation and Queens Drive Club for the opportunity to come together in the fight against cancer and help spread awareness for a cause that touches so many lives.”
Queens Drive Club’s Mumbai debut adds another chapter to its effort to build a connected community of women around automobiles while linking that platform to social causes. In a city well acquainted with both horsepower and high-profile gatherings, the drive stood out for steering attention toward a quieter but more urgent destination: cancer awareness and patient support.
