Toyota India Reports 31,016 Unit Sales in June, Up 7% Year-on-Year

Bangalore: Toyota Kirloskar Motor reported total sales of 31,016 units in June 2026, marking a 7% year-on-year growth over the 28,869 units sold in June 2025, supported by steady domestic demand and exports.

The company said its June sales included 28,441 units in the domestic market, up 8% from 26,453 units in the same month last year. Exports stood at 2,575 units, compared with 2,416 units in June 2025, registering a 7% increase.

The performance comes as Toyota Kirloskar Motor continues to benefit from sustained customer interest across its portfolio, including the recently introduced New Innova Crysta. In a market where buyers can examine everything from fuel efficiency to cup-holder placement with forensic seriousness, steady growth remains a useful indicator of brand momentum.

Commenting on the sales performance, Mr. Sabari Manohar, Executive Vice President, Sales-Service-Used Car Business, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said, “We are encouraged with the positive sales performance in the month of June driven by continued market momentum and a clear focus on customer-centricity. The recently introduced New Innova Crysta with its premium styling and bold new design elements has received an encouraging response for its distinctive appeal and compelling value proposition.

Our focus remains on enhancing market presence through high-quality products, value-added services and offering peace of mind, serving as key drivers of growth in the coming months.”

For the January-June 2026 period, Toyota Kirloskar Motor sold 2,01,338 units, up 15% from 1,74,890 units in the corresponding period of 2025. Domestic sales during the first six months of 2026 stood at 1,85,666 units, compared with 1,61,531 units a year earlier, also reflecting 15% growth.

Exports during the same period rose 17% to 15,672 units, against 13,359 units in January-June 2025.

The numbers underline Toyota Kirloskar Motor’s continued expansion in the Indian market, where demand for multi-purpose vehicles and premium family vehicles remains resilient. With the first half of 2026 closing on a stronger note, the company will be looking to carry that momentum into the coming months, helped by product updates, service reach and a market that continues to reward practical choices—preferably with a bit of polish.
