Bengaluru: Toyota Kirloskar Motor has officially revealed the pricing of the all-electric Urban Cruiser Ebella E3, setting it at ₹23.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The new battery-electric SUV joins Toyota’s growing electrified portfolio and is aimed at customers looking for a feature-rich, technology-packed urban SUV with zero tailpipe emissions.
Built on Toyota’s global expertise in electrified mobility spanning more than three decades, the Urban Cruiser Ebella E3 combines bold SUV styling, a spacious cabin, advanced technology and a comprehensive safety package.
Toyota has adopted an ‘Urban Tech’ design philosophy for the Ebella E3. The electric SUV features the brand’s signature hammerhead-inspired front fascia, aerodynamic body lines, premium LED lighting, dual-tone exterior paint options and stylish 18-inch alloy wheels. The result is a modern SUV that looks ready for city streets while maintaining a commanding road presence.
Step inside and the Ebella E3 offers a cabin focused on comfort and practicality. Buyers get dual-tone interior finishes, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting with 12 colour choices, sliding and reclining rear seats, a panoramic roof and a JBL premium audio system. In short, it’s the kind of cabin where passengers might start arguing over who gets the back seat instead of the front.
Technology is another strong point. The SUV features a unified digital cockpit that combines a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with a 10.1-inch infotainment system. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard, ensuring seamless smartphone connectivity.
Safety remains a major highlight. The Urban Cruiser Ebella E3 comes equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), seven airbags, a high-tensile body structure and a 360-degree camera. Toyota says the package is designed to deliver a confident and secure driving experience across varying road conditions.
Toyota is also looking to ease concerns around EV ownership. The company is offering an 8-year battery warranty, assured buyback options, Battery-as-a-Service solutions and attractive financing schemes. To support customers, Toyota has expanded its EV service ecosystem with over 500 BEV-enabled service touchpoints across India and more than 2,500 BEV master technicians trained in electrified vehicle maintenance.
Charging convenience has also been prioritised. The Ebella E3 supports both AC and DC fast charging and comes with connected features through Toyota’s i-Connect platform, enabling remote charging operations, charging schedules and battery monitoring directly from a smartphone.
Customers will be able to choose from five monotone and four dual-tone exterior colour options, adding a touch of personalization to the electric SUV.
With the Urban Cruiser Ebella E3 now priced and ready for Indian roads, Toyota is signalling that its electric ambitions are becoming increasingly serious. And while the SUV may be silent on the move, it certainly makes a loud statement about Toyota’s future in the EV space.
