Audi India introduces ‘My Auras’: When your car knows your mood better than your playlist

Mumbai: Audi India has unveiled My Auras, a first-of-its-kind in-vehicle experience that aims to turn every drive into a carefully curated sensory journey — because apparently, even your car now believes in “vibes only”.

Positioned as a breakthrough in personalised luxury, My Auras is available across MyAudi Connect and is integrated directly into compatible Audi vehicles. The platform blends ambient lighting, climate control, aromatisation, seat massage, ventilation and Apple Music into one intelligent, mood-based ecosystem. In simple terms: instead of fiddling with 10 settings, you just pick a feeling and let the car do the rest.

True to Audi’s legendary Vorsprung durch Technik philosophy, My Auras goes beyond functionality and taps into emotional driving — transforming daily commutes into experiences of calm, energy, celebration or relaxation, depending on what kind of day (or traffic jam) you’re having.

One click, many senses

At the heart of My Auras is its one-click multi-sensory control. Users can activate a complete cabin atmosphere instantly — synchronising lighting themes, music playlists, temperature, airflow and even massage functions. It’s like having a spa, DJ and climate engineer onboard, without paying three separate EMIs.

The intelligent Apple Music integration automatically curates playlists aligned to the selected theme, ensuring that your ears match the mood your eyes and body are already enjoying.

Stress-free driving, now officially a feature

Beyond luxury, Audi claims My Auras promotes mental well-being by reducing stress during everyday driving. With integrated access to roadside assistance, service support and vehicle information within the same app, the system is designed to minimise anxiety — both mechanical and emotional.

In other words, your Audi is now not just a car, but a certified stress management tool.

Because birthdays deserve better than traffic

Perhaps the most delightful (and slightly cheeky) feature is Birthday Mode. On your special day, My Auras can automatically trigger celebratory lighting, music and ambience — so even if you’re stuck in office traffic, at least your car remembers it’s your birthday.

Festive themes can also be customised for cultural and seasonal occasions, making My Auras particularly relevant for Indian users who believe festivals deserve proper lighting — even inside the cabin.

Compatible across Audi’s luxury lineup

My Auras is compatible across a wide range of Audi India’s portfolio, including:

Audi A4, Audi Q3, Audi Q3 Sportback, Audi Q5, Audi A6, Audi Q7, Audi Q8, Audi RS Q8 and Audi Q8 e-tron.

The experience is accessible via MyAudi Connect on iPhones or directly through the vehicle’s infotainment system. The feature is currently exclusive to iOS users and available on Audi vehicles from Model Year 2024 onwards.

What Audi India says

Balbir Singh Dhillon, Brand Director, Audi India, said:

“At Audi India, Vorsprung durch Technik is about creating unique experiences that adapt to our customers’ lives. The My Auras app delivers hyper-personalised moods, ensuring that every drive feels intentional — whether it’s calming, energising, festive, or celebratory.”

The bigger picture

With My Auras, Audi is clearly pushing the idea that luxury is no longer just about horsepower and screens — it’s about how a car makes you feel. And in a world where even smartphones track your sleep and stress levels, it was only a matter of time before cars started managing your emotions too.

The only remaining question: when the car knows your mood better than you do, who’s really driving whom?
