Mumbai: Tesla India just added another spark to its electric journey by unveiling its first Collision Center in partnership with the Gautam Modi Group. Located in Kalina, Mumbai—where supercars and monsoons both love to make headlines—the new center promises international-standard repair facilities and a team of technicians so skilled they could probably fix your Wi-Fi along with your car.
The inauguration was attended by Gautam Modi, Managing Director of the Gautam Modi Group, Nidhi Modi, Director of the Group, and senior Tesla India officials, marking a major milestone in India’s evolving EV service landscape. The collaboration blends Tesla’s cutting-edge technology with the Gautam Modi Group’s hallmark of precision and trust, setting a new benchmark for after-sales excellence.

“This partnership represents our commitment to elevating service quality and redefining the ownership experience for Indian EV customers,” said an official at the event, as attendees admired the glistening service bays that looked cleaner than most living rooms.
The new facility isn’t just a repair center—it’s a Tesla temple where dented dreams are resurrected in record time. Designed to meet Tesla’s global standards, the center will handle everything from light scratches to full-body resurrection after Mumbai’s infamous parking adventures.
Model Y: The Star of the Show
At the heart of Tesla’s India operations is the Model Y, priced from ₹59.89 lakh. With a 661 km range, 0–100 km/h in 5.6 seconds, and a 201 km/h top speed, it’s faster than most local politicians reaching ribbon-cutting ceremonies. Inside, the experience is a mix of luxury and sci-fi—front and rear lightbars, wraparound ambient lighting, a 15.4-inch touchscreen, ventilated seats, and an 8-inch rear touchscreen for those who like to change playlists while being chauffeured.
Comfort gets a tech upgrade too, with premium suspension, power-recline second-row seats, and acoustic glass that keeps road noise out (and your questionable playlist in).
Charging Up India’s Future
With this launch, Tesla and Gautam Modi Group aim to not just fix cars but also fix perceptions—proving that EV ownership in India can be as seamless as in California, minus the avocado toast.
In essence, the Tesla-Gautam Modi partnership is a collision of innovation and craftsmanship—only this time, it’s the kind you want to happen.
