Mumbai – Gotham isn’t the only city going wild for the Dark Knight. Mahindra has officially increased the production run of its BE 6 Batman Edition from 300 to 999 units, after fans, collectors, and superhero enthusiasts swarmed the brand with overwhelming demand. Turns out, when you mix electric mobility with cape-worthy charisma, 300 units just won’t cut it.
From “Limited” to “Limited-But-a-Bit-More”
Originally conceived as a 300-unit collector’s item, the BE 6 Batman Edition was intended to be as elusive as Batman himself. But Mahindra soon realized that if Gotham can have endless sequels, why not a few more Batmobiles? With 999 units now on offer, the SUV retains exclusivity while ensuring more fans can drive their own vigilante fantasy—cape not included.

The Badge of Honor – Numbers 001 to 999
Every buyer gets to select their preferred badge number, from 001 to 999. And in a quirky twist, Mahindra has made the numbers non-exclusive, meaning multiple Bat-fans can sport the same lucky number—because let’s face it, Batman has never really cared for monopoly.
Delivery on Batman Day – Coincidence? We Think Not.
The first BE 6 Batman Edition SUVs will be delivered on 20th September 2025, which also happens to be International Batman Day. That’s some next-level marketing synergy—almost as if Alfred planned it himself.
More Than a Car, It’s a Persona
Mahindra says the BE 6 Batman Edition is not just a car, but an extension of passion and individuality, especially for kids and lifelong fans who grew up idolizing the Caped Crusader. It’s a rolling tribute to the Dark Knight, designed to make every owner feel just a little more heroic while stuck in city traffic.
And if you thought this was a one-off, Mahindra hints that more special editions could arrive in 2026. Who knows? Maybe a Joker Edition with purple accents and green ambient lighting is lurking in the shadows.
