Gallery of Gears: MG Select Turns Car Shopping into a Luxury Art Exhibit in Mumbai

Mumbai — In a city where space is tighter than a parking spot in Colaba, MG Motor India has boldly reimagined what automotive luxury looks like. Welcome to MG Select, the brand’s opulent new Experience Centre, now open in Worli, Mumbai — a place where cars aren’t just sold, they’re curated.

Housed inside the iconic Atur House, this showroom doesn’t just showcase MG’s finest vehicles — it stages them like masterpieces in a minimalist art gallery. Think less dealership, more Guggenheim-on-wheels. If you’ve ever wanted to sip espresso while contemplating the curvature of a Cyberster, your moment has arrived.

JSW MG Motor India’s Managing Director, Anurag Mehrotra, was seen at the launch event redefining the luxury narrative with the calm confidence of someone who knows his marble-finished floor tiles reflect more than just natural light — they reflect MG’s intent to own the luxury conversation in India.

“Luxury consumption in India has grown faster than traffic during Ganesh Visarjan,” he noted (not in those words, of course), adding, “MG Select is not just a showroom; it’s an immersive experience. We’re not selling cars, we’re curating lifestyles.”

With 14 MG Select Experience Centres revving up across 13 Indian cities by the end of Q3 2025, MG isn’t just joining the luxury party — they’re hosting it, and probably setting the dress code to ‘bespoke electric elegance.’

The Mumbai centre, spearheaded by Gautam Modi and Nidhi Modi Chheda, doesn’t just reek of luxury — it whispers it. “MG Select Mumbai is where timeless design meets future-forward innovation,” they shared, while standing beside the MG M9 Presidential Limousine — a vehicle that makes even VVIP convoys look like carpool groups.

And let’s not forget the main attraction: the MG Cyberster, also known as the fastest way to get a breeze through your hair and attention at a red light. With its electric scissor doors, lightning-fast acceleration, and a range that gives petrol pumps an existential crisis, it’s the crown jewel of this new-age gallery.

Sustainability, innovation, and luxury – the holy trinity of modern car buying – come together under one stunning, earthy-toned roof. Even the lighting seems to have an opinion on elegance.

In short, MG Select isn’t just redefining luxury. It’s parking it, spotlighting it, and asking if you’d like almond milk with that.
