Power Meets Prudence: Audi India Launches ‘Drive Sure’ So Your Chauffeur Doesn’t Mistake ‘Quattro’ for a Cocktail

Mumbai – In a bold fusion of horsepower and humility, Audi India has fired up the ignition on a brand-new initiative—‘Audi Drive Sure’, a responsible driver education program with a singular mission: teaching drivers that performance isn’t just about going fast, it’s about knowing when not to.

With India’s roads becoming more congested than a group chat during IPL finals, Audi’s latest initiative takes a sharp turn toward responsible luxury. Designed for both owners and chauffeurs of Audi’s performance beasts, ‘Drive Sure’ aims to close the knowledge gap between modern-day German engineering and good old-fashioned driver sensibility.

“At Audi, ‘Vorsprung durch Technik’ doesn’t mean ‘launch control on every speed bump,’” said Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India. “It’s a promise of progress—for roads, for drivers, and yes, even for that one uncle who thinks the brake pedal is optional.”

The curriculum comes in two finely tuned versions:

  • For young Audi owners: A workshop teaching them that the ‘S’ in S-line doesn’t stand for ‘Speed demon’. Topics include handling high-performance vehicles across varied terrains, decoding that blinking light on the dash (no, it’s not applause), and mastering driving scenarios that don’t involve racing school fantasies.
  • For chauffeurs: Because if you’re being driven in an Audi, your chauffeur shouldn’t treat it like a rickshaw. This elite program includes Audi technology immersion, grooming etiquette, and lessons in luxury conduct, ensuring every passenger feels like a VIP—even during rush hour.

And here’s the kicker: the program is absolutely free for Audi customers—because safety shouldn’t come with a surcharge.

The move comes at a time when Audi India has already crossed the milestone of 100,000 cars sold in the country, with one in every four cars going to repeat customers. Clearly, people love their Audis—now Audi wants to make sure people also respect what’s under the hood.

So the next time you hear an Audi engine roar in your neighborhood, rest easy knowing the driver has likely been taught not just how to unleash the beast, but how to tame it with class.

Drive safe. Drive smart. Drive sure—with Audi.
