Mahindra’s Marvelous Motor Milestone: SUV Sales Soar by 40%, Vehicles Vroom to 24% Growth in February Frenzy

Mumbai, March 01, 2024: In an unprecedented display of automotive excellence, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M Ltd.), a titan in the Indian auto industry, has today divulged its sales figures for February 2024, revealing a roaring success. The company’s vehicle sales skyrocketed to a total of 72,923 units, marking a significant leap of 24% growth, including its global exports.

Notably, the Utility Vehicles (UV) segment was the star of the show, with Mahindra driving home sales of 42,401 vehicles in the domestic market alone, translating to a jaw-dropping 40% increase. Including exports, the UV tally nudged slightly higher to 42,941 vehicles. The commercial vehicles segment also showed commendable performance with domestic sales hitting 22,825 units.

Veejay Nakra, the spirited President of the Automotive Division at M&M Ltd., shared his excitement over the figures, stating, “We’ve revved up our engines this February, selling a total of 42,401 SUVs with a growth of 40% and reaching a grand total of 72,923 vehicles, marking a 24% growth over the previous year. In our quest to get our cutting-edge SUVs into the hands of consumers quicker, we’ve launched the Scorpio N Z8S variant and the Thar Earth edition this month.”

The numbers are a testament to Mahindra’s relentless pursuit of automotive innovation and its commitment to exceeding consumer expectations. The company’s strategy to accelerate its offerings by introducing new variants has evidently paid off, steering Mahindra into a fast lane of growth and setting a high bar for the industry.
