Kia Carnival 2025: Revolutionizing the Road with Hybrid Power and High-Tech Luxury

The automotive world is set to be dazzled at the Canadian International Auto Show with the unveiling of the 2025 Kia Carnival, a vehicle that has captivated Canadian hearts with a staggering 177% sales increase in 2023. This new model is not just a car but a statement – a harmonious blend of utility, purpose, and modern luxury, now available in a trailblazing hybrid variant.

David Sherrard, Kia Canada’s Director of Strategic Planning, articulates the essence of the 2025 Carnival: “This model redefines its class, perfectly balancing functionality and opulence. It’s tailored to meet the diverse needs of our customers, offering an array of choices in powertrain, seating configurations, and cutting-edge technologies.”

The Carnival, both in its gas and hybrid versions, is a groundbreaking addition to the full-size family vehicle segment, promising eco-friendliness without sacrificing dynamism. The gas model is set to hit dealerships this spring, with the hybrid variant following in the summer.

In line with Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy, the 2025 Carnival sports a high-tech and confident look, featuring sophisticated star-map daytime running lights and iconic amber hues. The vehicle’s front and rear designs are both bold and cohesive, boasting new bumper, grille, and tail lamp designs, along with five innovative wheel designs.

Practicality is also enhanced with standard trailer pre-wiring, making it easier for families to hitch trailers for adventurous outings.

The interior of the Carnival has undergone a futuristic transformation, offering a three-dimensional effect with innovative lighting and design elements. It features a standard 12.3” panoramic navigation screen and a digital gauge cluster. The SX trim now offers an 8-passenger option with removable second-row bench seating, in addition to the previous model’s second-row VIP captain’s chairs.

Kia’s Connected Car Navigation Cockpit elevates the Carnival’s infotainment and software capabilities. The vehicle includes a head-up display and over-the-air technology for software updates. The 2025 Carnival also boasts Digital Key 2.0, allowing drivers to use their smartphone as a virtual car key.

The Carnival Hybrid is a new milestone, equipped with a 1.6 turbocharged engine and a high-output drive motor. It offers various levels of regenerative braking for improved efficiency. Unique features such as Shift by Wire and Remote Smart Parking Assist further distinguish the hybrid model.

The 2025 Carnival includes enhanced Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS), featuring improved collision avoidance, lane-change assistance, evasive steering assist, and various cruise control functionalities, ensuring a safer driving experience.
