Retailing at a cool INR 5.40 crore (ex-showroom), this Ferrari has locals and car enthusiasts alike buzzing with excitement. “It’s wonderful to see these small towns getting such exotic cars. The Ferrari 296GTB, a hallmark of Italian craftsmanship since 2022, is not just any sports car. This two-seater GTB coupe is Ferrari’s first-ever stock model sporting a 6-cylinder engine. It’s a sleek, plug-in hybrid with a rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive. The powertrain is a harmonious blend of a twin-turbocharged V6 and an electric drive nestled between the engine and gearbox.
Making its grand debut on June 24, 2021, the 296GTB boasts an impressive 819 horsepower from its combined power pack, achieving a staggering power-to-weight ratio of 560 Hp/tonne.
It’s equipped with a high-voltage accumulator tucked under the floor, boasting a 7.45 kWh capacity, allowing for an electric range of 25 km. The Ferrari 296GTB can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 2.9 seconds, with a top speed exceeding 330 km/h.
