Honda Cars India Ltd. has opened pre-launch bookings for the New Honda Elevate, ahead of its scheduled India debut on October 6, 2026.
Customers can reserve the updated SUV at authorised Honda dealerships across the country for a booking amount of ₹21,000, the company said.
India will be the first market to receive the New Elevate, underscoring the country’s importance in Honda’s strategy for the SUV. The company has described India as the lead market for the model.
Honda has not yet disclosed the complete list of changes, but said the New Elevate will feature several additional features and enhancements, along with a revised design and a more premium cabin.
The update comes as carmakers prepare for the festive-season buying period, traditionally one of the busiest stretches of the year for India’s automotive market. For Honda, that means giving the Elevate a timely refresh before showroom traffic picks up — because even SUVs, it appears, can benefit from a festive wardrobe update.
Speaking on the occasion, Kunal Behl, Vice President – Marketing and Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd said, “The Honda Elevate has established a strong position among SUV buyers in India, appreciated for its bold design, road presence, driving pleasure, safety, space and comfort. With the new Elevate, we are taking this proposition further by introducing several strongly desired features and enhancements, along with a bolder design and more premium cabin experience. India is the lead market for the Elevate, and we are proud to introduce the New Elevate first in India. As we open pre-launch bookings ahead of the festive season, we look forward to offering our customers an even more compelling Honda SUV and making their celebrations even more special.”
Honda Cars India has positioned the Elevate in the competitive mid-size SUV segment, where buyers increasingly expect a combination of design, safety, technology, space and comfort.
More details, including the New Elevate’s variant line-up, equipment additions and pricing, are expected to be announced closer to its October 6 launch.
With India becoming the first market to receive the updated model, the New Elevate’s launch will also offer a clearer indication of how Honda plans to strengthen its SUV presence in one of the world’s most closely contested passenger vehicle markets.
