Citroën Marks 108th Year Globally With India-Wide Celebration, SUV Offers and Customer Benefits

Chennai: Citroën India has announced the beginning of its 108th year celebrations, marking more than a century of French innovation, distinctive design and comfort-focused mobility. And no, 108 is not just a lucky number for discounts — though Citroën has smartly made sure customers get some of those too.

The brand is celebrating the milestone in India with a month-long customer engagement programme across its dealerships, offering exclusive service benefits, limited-period ownership offers, customer giveaways and immersive showroom experiences.

Running from June 4 to June 30, 2026, the campaign aims to bring existing and prospective customers closer to the Citroën brand while highlighting its long-standing legacy of practical, comfort-led and human-centric mobility.

Founded on André Citroën’s vision of making mobility accessible and meaningful, the French carmaker has spent over a century building vehicles known for their engineering originality, comfort and unconventional design approach. From iconic global models to modern SUVs, Citroën has often preferred doing things its own way — which, in true French fashion, usually means adding comfort before compromise.

Speaking on the milestone, Kumar Priyesh, Director, Automotive Brands, Stellantis India, said, “As Citroën enters its 108th year globally, we are proud to carry this legacy forward in India with a clear focus on accessible innovation, comfort-led mobility, and customer-centricity. Our Smart Car Platform reflects our commitment to delivering world-class engineering tailored to Indian needs, while driving localisation and competitiveness. As part of the celebration, Citroën customers scheduled for periodic maintenance on June 4 received a waiver on labour charges, adding a pleasant surprise to what is usually one of the less exciting parts of car ownership.

The campaign includes celebratory limited-period offers on the entire Citroën SUV range, special discounts on periodic maintenance jobs, and a 10.8 percent discount on accessories, merchandise and value-added services for a limited period. Customers can also benefit from giveaways and referral rewards during the campaign period.

The 108th year celebrations come as Citroën continues to strengthen its presence in India with a focus on localisation, competitive products and customer-oriented experiences. The company’s Smart Car Platform remains central to its India strategy, aimed at delivering vehicles suited to Indian usage patterns while retaining the brand’s global engineering and comfort DNA.

With this milestone campaign, Citroën is not just looking back at 108 years of automotive history but also preparing for its next phase of growth in India.
