Gurugram – When it comes to EV charging, MG Motor India has officially gone from range anxiety to download ecstasy. JSW MG Motor today proudly announced that its EV charging platform, eHub by MG, has zipped past 100,000 downloads, proving that Indians don’t just want fast cars — they also want fast chargers.
With over 12,500+ fast charging points stitched together into India’s widest interoperable charging network, the eHub by MG app now covers more ground than your neighborhood chaiwallah. Backed by 33 charge point operators (CPOs) including big names like Jio-BP Pulse, Shell, Adani, Chargezone, Statiq, and BPCL, the app is quickly becoming the “Zomato for charging” — except instead of hot samosas, you get hot electrons.
A Green Mileage Buffet
Since launch, eHub has dispensed more than 1.3 million kWh of clean energy, enabling 382,000 green trips and planning 176 million emission-free kilometers — enough to circle Earth more times than your nosy uncle circles gossip at a wedding.
The app isn’t just for MG owners either. It’s open to EV users of any brand, whether you drive a Nexon EV, a BYD, or even that quirky PMV microcar your cousin swears is “the future.” Features like station reviews, location mapping, reservations, and digital payments ensure that charging an EV feels less like hunting treasure and more like booking a movie ticket.
Leadership Charge
Commenting on the milestone, Neha Jain, Head of EV Ecosystem at JSW MG Motor India, quipped:
“The growing adoption of our eHub by MG app reflects Indian consumers’ readiness to embrace a comprehensive EV ecosystem. With ‘EV Sahi Hai,’ we want customers to feel confident that they can take their EVs anywhere — without resorting to charging at a neighbor’s extension cord.”
This app milestone complements MG’s surging EV sales. From 28% passenger EV market share in Q1 2025, the brand has already accelerated to 32% in Q2, with EV wholesales revving up by 28%. Clearly, the road ahead for MG is not just electric — it’s downright electrifying.
