Nissan India Appoints Abhishek Arora as Director of Dealer Network and Customer Quality

Gurugram – Nissan Motor India (NMIPL) has announced the appointment and role expansion of Abhishek Arora as Director of Dealer Network Development and Customer Quality Training (DND-CQT), effective 14 November 2024. In addition to his current position as Director – Transformation & New Projects, Arora will now oversee key initiatives related to network development, customer quality, and strategic business growth, with a focus on preparing Nissan for the launch of upcoming products in India.

Arora joined Nissan in September 2024, taking on the role of Director – Transformation and New Projects. In October 2024, he was given interim responsibility for the DND-CQT division, and his new full-time appointment further consolidates his leadership within the company. With a wealth of experience in managing premium automotive networks, Arora is expected to enhance Nissan’s operations in India, particularly for the company’s Completely Built-Up (CBU) business.

Prior to his tenure at Nissan, Arora served in prominent roles at Audi India, where he led various functions, including Network Development, Business Management, Sales Training, and the Used Car Business. His career also includes significant positions at General Motors, Tata Motors, and Honda Motorcycles, where he honed his expertise in channel sales, planning, and network management for premium car brands.

Commenting on the appointment, Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director of Nissan Motor India, expressed confidence in Arora’s ability to drive Nissan’s strategic initiatives. “We are excited to have Abhishek Arora as Director – DND-CQT in addition to his ongoing leadership of transformation projects. His extensive experience in the premium automotive sector will be instrumental in strengthening our network capabilities and ensuring we are well-positioned for upcoming product launches. His leadership will be key to enhancing the customer experience as we continue to grow in this competitive market,” said Vatsa.

This appointment underscores Nissan’s commitment to excellence in dealer network development and customer satisfaction, while ensuring seamless business continuity as the company advances its growth strategy in India.
