India’s First Lamborghini Revuelto Delivered in Chennai: A Purple Thunder Roars to Life

Chennai witnessed an extraordinary moment today as India’s first Lamborghini Revuelto arrived, delivered to an enthusiastic owner in the vibrant shade of Viola Bast. The stunning supercar will undoubtedly turn heads during the city’s famous Sunday drives, sparking excitement for those hoping to see more of Lamborghini’s latest masterpiece on Indian roads.

The prestigious delivery came courtesy of Lamborghini’s Bengaluru dealership, marking the debut customer-owned Revuelto in India. While three Revueltos were previously allocated to dealerships, this is the first model to land in the hands of an Indian car enthusiast.

The spec of this hybrid hypercar has captured the imagination of car lovers across the internet, with fans raving about its sleek design and electrifying color choice. Priced at a jaw-dropping INR 8.89 crore (ex-showroom), it’s now the most expensive Lamborghini model available in the country, representing the pinnacle of Italian automotive innovation.

The Lamborghini Revuelto, a successor to the Aventador, is a mid-engine plug-in hybrid that blends traditional combustion power with cutting-edge electric performance. Unveiled globally on March 29, 2023, the car is named after a fierce Spanish fighting bull that earned fame in Barcelona’s bullfighting arena in the 1880s—a fitting name for a car that exudes power and aggression.

Aesthetically, the Revuelto stands out with its striking Y-shaped daytime running LED lights, bold scissor doors, and Lamborghini’s advanced ALA (Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva) system, which is 80% lighter than conventional hydraulic systems. At the rear, the hypercar’s active aero spoiler ensures maximum downforce, paired with the signature Y-shaped tail-lights.

The powerhouse beneath the hood is a 6.5-liter V12 engine supported by three electric motors, collectively delivering a mind-boggling 1001 horsepower and 807 Nm of torque. With a top speed exceeding 350 km/h, the Revuelto promises to be a thrilling addition to India’s growing fleet of hypercars.

As Chennai welcomes this purple beast, anticipation builds for its presence on India’s bustling roads, setting the stage for an electrifying new era in Indian automotive culture.
