Gurugram: JSW MG Motor India has launched the MG Windsor Indulge Edition at Rs 17,88,900 (ex-showroom), introducing a more premium version of its popular electric crossover. The special edition features an exclusive Shadow Gold and Black exterior, redesigned interior upholstery, additional rear-seat comfort features and distinctive styling elements, while retaining the standard Windsor’s 38-kWh battery pack and certified driving range of 332 km.
The new edition is aimed at customers seeking a more personalised ownership experience, particularly those who prioritise rear-seat comfort. Rather than making mechanical changes, MG has concentrated on cosmetic enhancements, cabin materials and passenger-focused equipment.
Exclusive Shadow Gold Exterior and Black Alloy Wheels
The MG Windsor Indulge Edition introduces an exclusive dual-tone paint combination, pairing a Shadow Gold body colour with a contrasting Black roof. The combination gives the electric crossover a distinctive appearance compared with the regular Windsor.
The exterior upgrades extend to Black outside rear-view mirrors (ORVMs) and 18-inch Black alloy wheels, creating a coordinated appearance. Exclusive Indulge badging on the C-pillar further distinguishes the special edition from other variants.
MG has also announced a selection of accessories for customers seeking additional personalisation. These include chrome accents for the front grille, bumper corner protectors, body side mouldings and a premium leather key cover.
The styling changes are relatively restrained, with the emphasis placed on creating a more distinctive version of the existing model rather than redesigning it.
Urban Tan Interior, PRIVE Screen and Enhanced Rear-Seat Comfort
Inside, the Windsor Indulge Edition receives an exclusive Urban Tan and Black upholstery theme, replacing the conventional cabin colour scheme with a warmer combination.
The front headrests feature Indulge embroidery, reinforcing the special edition’s identity. However, the more significant additions are reserved for passengers in the second row.
The edition comes equipped with a Prive Screen for rear-seat occupants as standard, adding another layer of convenience and entertainment for passengers. MG has also included specially designed pillows and neck cushions featuring Indulge badging.
These additions complement the Windsor’s existing Aero Lounge seats, which can recline up to 135 degrees.
The focus on rear-seat comfort reflects MG’s positioning of the Windsor as an electric vehicle offering a business-class travel experience. While the terminology borrows from aviation, the objective is straightforward: make the journey more comfortable for passengers who would rather leave the driving to someone else.
Additional accessories include a rear sunshade and themed 3D floor mats, allowing owners to further personalise the cabin.
MG Windsor Indulge Edition: Battery, Power and Range
Mechanically, the Indulge Edition retains the Windsor’s existing electric powertrain.
The vehicle is powered by a 38-kWh battery pack paired with an electric motor producing 100 kW (136 PS) and 200 Nm of torque. MG quotes a certified driving range of 332 km.
Key specifications:

MG Windsor Reaches Over 80,000 Families in 24 Months
The launch follows what JSW MG Motor India describes as a significant milestone for the Windsor, with the company stating that the electric crossover has reached more than 80,000 families within 24 months.
Speaking on the launch, Vinay Raina, Chief Commercial Officer, JSW MG Motor India, said:
“The MG Windsor is an important product not only for us but for the EV segment, as it has encouraged many fence-sitters to embrace electric mobility. Reaching over 80,000 families in just 24 months is a remarkable milestone and a testament to the value the Windsor delivers to customers. Building on this success, the Indulge Edition introduces exclusive enhancements and an elevated cabin experience, offering customers a more premium and personalised expression of the Windsor lifestyle. It reflects our commitment to continuously evolving the product in line with changing customer preferences while retaining the qualities that have made the Windsor a preferred choice in the EV segment.”
The company’s decision to introduce a comfort-oriented edition suggests a strategy of expanding the Windsor’s appeal through additional features and personalisation rather than relying exclusively on battery specifications or driving range.
Existing Windsor Features Continue
The Indulge Edition builds upon the MG Windsor’s existing crossover design, which combines the passenger space and comfort typically associated with sedans with the versatility of an SUV.
The vehicle follows MG’s Aero Glide design philosophy, featuring a streamlined exterior intended to create a distinctive identity.
Inside, the Windsor features a 15.6-inch Grandview Touch Display integrated into the centre console, serving as a central interface for various vehicle functions.
The reclining Aero Lounge seats remain a defining element of the model’s interior, and the Indulge Edition expands on this approach with its additional passenger-focused equipment.
A More Premium Approach to Electric Mobility
With the launch of the Windsor Indulge Edition, JSW MG Motor India is extending the appeal of its electric crossover to buyers who place greater importance on cabin ambience, rear-seat comfort and individual styling.
At Rs 17.89 lakh (ex-showroom), the special edition offers a different interpretation of the existing Windsor without changing its fundamental electric powertrain.
As India’s electric passenger vehicle market continues to evolve, manufacturers are increasingly looking beyond range and charging specifications to differentiate their offerings. The Windsor Indulge Edition illustrates that approach, highlighting how comfort, personalisation and passenger experience can become important considerations alongside the more familiar numbers on an EV specification sheet.
