Mumbai: Queens Drive Club (QDC), an all-women supercar collective founded by Ritika Jain Ahuja, Chief Operating Officer of Big Boy Toyz, is set to hold its first-ever drive in Mumbai, combining luxury automobiles and women’s leadership with a cancer awareness and support initiative.
The Mumbai edition will bring together members of QDC’s community of more than 100 women, with social impact forming a central part of the event rather than simply riding in the passenger seat.
Amruta Fadnavis has been invited to participate in the Mumbai edition and will join Ahuja in flagging off the drive.
The event is being organised in partnership with V Care Foundation, with QDC seeking to extend its involvement beyond cancer awareness to direct support for patients.
According to the organisers, QDC is sponsoring one lakh chemotherapy treatments in partnership with PATH Foundation. FICCI FLO Mumbai will participate in the initiative as Community Partner.
Founded by Ahuja, QDC describes itself as India’s first all-women supercar collective. The group has built a community centred around women with an interest in high-end automobiles while also positioning its drives as platforms for networking, leadership and social initiatives.
For its Mumbai debut, the club is placing cancer awareness and treatment support at the heart of the programme, giving the gathering a broader purpose beyond the spectacle of exotic machinery.
The initiative reflects a growing effort by lifestyle and enthusiast communities to use their reach for social causes. In QDC’s case, the Mumbai drive will bring together the unmistakable visual appeal of supercars with a more consequential objective — directing attention and resources towards cancer care.
As Queens Drive Club expands its footprint to Mumbai, the event will test how effectively an enthusiast community built around luxury automobiles can also mobilise its network for meaningful social impact.
