Metro Manila: Green GSM has launched Premium Taxi, a new seven-seat electric taxi service in the Philippines, expanding its ride-hailing portfolio with a higher-end mobility option aimed at families, business travellers, airport passengers and larger groups.
The new service uses an all-electric fleet of VinFast Limo Green vehicles and becomes Green GSM’s second service tier in the Philippines after Green GSM Car.
Premium Taxi can accommodate groups of up to six passengers and is positioned for customers requiring additional cabin and luggage space, including families, corporate travellers and passengers heading to airports, hotels or other transport hubs.
Black VinFast Limo Green Fleet Sets Premium Service Apart
Unlike the cyan-coloured vehicles operated under Green GSM Car, the Premium Taxi fleet is finished entirely in black, providing a clear visual distinction between the company’s two services.
The VinFast Limo Green features a seven-seat, three-row cabin and comes equipped with automatic air conditioning, dedicated air vents for passengers in the two rear rows and an air filtration system.
The electric vehicles also offer the usual characteristics associated with battery-powered transport: zero tailpipe emissions, no fuel odour and substantially reduced engine noise. In Metro Manila traffic, where silence can occasionally feel like a luxury item in its own right, that could prove a welcome feature.
Green GSM said drivers assigned to the Premium Taxi fleet have been selected based on high service-quality ratings.
Fares will be displayed through both in-vehicle meters and the Green GSM mobile application, allowing passengers to follow trip information and pricing during their journey.
Initial Operations Across Four Metro Manila Cities
During the initial phase, Premium Taxi will operate in Makati, Taguig, Mandaluyong and Pasig City, covering major business districts, commercial centres, hotels and transportation hubs across Metro Manila.

The Premium Taxi launch broadens Green GSM’s all-electric mobility portfolio in the Philippines as the company seeks to address different passenger requirements within the urban transport market.
