Gurugram: BMW Group India has launched the new BMW X6 M60i xDrive in the country, bringing its performance-focused Sports Activity Coupé to Indian buyers as a Completely Built-Up Unit. The model is priced at ₹1,77,90,000, ex-showroom, and is available from today onwards.
Positioned at the upper end of BMW’s luxury performance SUV-coupé range, the new X6 M60i xDrive combines a 4.4-litre V8 petrol engine, M-tuned dynamics and the brand’s familiar coupé-style SUV silhouette. BMW says the model is aimed at customers seeking performance, luxury and road presence in equal measure — a combination that rarely travels quietly.
Mr. Hardeep Singh Brar, President and CEO, BMW Group India said, ” The new BMW X6 M60i xDrive is an absolute powerhouse engineered to command the road with an unmistakable, muscular stance. Positioned at the pinnacle of expressive luxury, this sports activity coupé is crafted for individuals who demand a distinct lifestyle. At its heart lies the legendary V8 engine, offering raw, emotional power. The X6 M60i is not just an automobile; it is a bold manifestation of exclusivity and engineering supremacy, designed to dominate the road and imagination of true driving connoisseurs.”

The ex-showroom price includes GST but excludes road tax, Tax Collected at Source, RTO charges, statutory taxes and fees, local levies and insurance. BMW said the price prevailing at the time of invoicing will be applicable, while prices and options remain subject to change without prior notice.
At the centre of the X6 M60i xDrive is a newly developed 4.4-litre V8 petrol engine that produces 530 hp and 750 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with an eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission and xDrive all-wheel-drive system. BMW says the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/h.
The V8 is supported by a 48V battery setup, which BMW says helps improve both performance and efficiency. The engine also gets an M Sport exhaust system, giving the X6 M60i the kind of soundtrack expected from a luxury SUV that clearly skipped the “quiet entry” chapter.
The new BMW X6 M60i xDrive comes equipped with M-tuned driving hardware, including Adaptive M suspension, Integral Active Steering with rear-wheel steer, rear-biased xDrive and an M Sport differential. The setup is designed to improve agility, stability and traction across different driving conditions.
BMW has also fitted the model with M Sport brakes as standard. The brake callipers are finished in red and carry the M logo. The M Sport package Pro is standard as well, bringing a quad-pipe M Sport exhaust system, M seat belts and a rear spoiler finished in Black high-gloss.
Visually, the X6 M60i follows the familiar Sports Activity Coupé formula, with a long sloping roofline, muscular shoulders and an assertive front end. The model features slim Adaptive LED headlights with arrow-shaped daytime running light elements, M Shadowline lights, a matt black kidney grille with vertical double ribs and M-specific exterior detailing.
Other exterior elements include Gloss black M exterior mirrors, M-specific side skirts, M High-gloss Shadowline extended trim, trapezoidal exhaust tailpipe trims and slim rear lights extending into the tailgate. The SUV-coupé comes standard with 21-inch M light-alloy wheels and runflat tyres.
The new BMW X6 M60i xDrive is available in six exterior colours: Aventurine Red, Manhattan Metallic, Brooklyn Grey, Black Sapphire, Mineral White and Isle of Man Green. Buyers can choose Sensafin upholstery in Silverstone, Tacora Red/Black, Black and Cognac.
BMW is also offering further personalisation through more than 40 BMW Individual special paintwork shades, including metallic colours such as Atlantis and Velvet Blue, along with solid and matt finishes. BMW Individual extended leather trim ‘Merino’ is available in Ivory White, Coffee, Tartufo and Black.
Inside, the X6 M60i gets BMW’s Curved Display, consisting of a 12.3-inch digital information display behind the steering wheel and a 14.9-inch control display housed behind a single glass surface. The dashboard has been redesigned with a horizontal layout, while Sensafin surfacing and fine wood trim with high-gloss metal effect add to the premium cabin finish.
An ambient light bar with a crystalline surface structure is integrated below the trim element on the front passenger side and carries “///M” lettering. Customers can also opt for Crafted Clarity glass applications for the toggle, iDrive controller and controls.
The cabin comes with comfort seats that offer ventilation, lumbar support and electric adjustment for seat height, seat angle, backrest angle and backrest width. The driver’s seat gets memory function. A massage function is available as an option for the driver and front passenger, offering eight massage programmes with three intensity levels each.
Other comfort and luxury features include a Harman Kardon surround sound system with 16 speakers and a 464-watt amplifier, optional Alcantara M headliner and soft-close doors.
On the technology front, the X6 M60i xDrive gets BMW ConnectedDrive features such as Digital Key Plus, Emergency Call, Real-time Traffic Information and Remote Services through the MyBMW app. The BMW Live Cockpit Professional package includes navigation, the BMW Curved Display, a 12.3-inch digital instrument display and BMW Head-up Display.
The vehicle runs BMW iDrive with Operating System 8.5, supporting touch and voice interaction. It is paired with the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, which can learn driver habits, offer useful tips and support smartphone app integration. Wireless smartphone integration and Remote Software Upgrades are also included.
The My BMW App allows owners to monitor vehicle status and access Learning Navigation, which offers destination suggestions and traffic information based on driving habits. BMW Digital Key Plus enables compatible smartphones to function as a vehicle key for locking, unlocking and driving the car.
Driver assistance features include Parking Assistant Professional with 360-degree surround view and Reversing Assistant. The latter records the last 200 metres driven and can assist by taking over steering while reversing out of tight spaces or narrow driveways.
BMW has also included EfficientDynamics features such as Auto Start-Stop, Brake-Energy Regeneration, Electronic Power Steering and ECO PRO mode. The car uses an intelligent lightweight design, 50:50 weight distribution and optimised aerodynamics to support its handling characteristics.
Safety equipment includes six airbags, Attentiveness Assistance, Anti-lock Braking System with Brake Assist, Dynamic Stability Control with Dynamic Traction Control, Cornering Brake Control, electric parking brake with auto hold, side-impact protection, electronic vehicle immobiliser and crash sensors. The model also gets a Tyre Pressure Indicator, ISOFIX child seat mounts and a tyre repair kit.
BMW India Financial Services is offering the X6 M60i xDrive through BMW SMART Finance, including an assured buyback of 60% after three years or 10,000 km. Customers can also finance BMW Service Inclusive, BMW Secure Advance and Extended Warranty packages.
The launch strengthens BMW’s performance-luxury line-up in India at a time when high-end SUVs continue to command strong attention among premium car buyers. With its V8 engine, coupé-SUV styling and M-tuned hardware, the new X6 M60i xDrive enters the market as a machine designed less for blending in and more for making an entrance — preferably with all four exhaust tips involved.
