Micelio Powers Up the Future: Bengaluru’s Clean Mobility Summit Plugs India Straight Into Tomorrow

Bengaluru: The Global Clean Mobility Summit 2025, hosted by Micelio Mobility, wasn’t just another conference with a thousand PowerPoints and polite applause — it was a full-throttle, electrically charged brainstorm on India’s journey to clean, connected, and conscious mobility.

Under the banner “Next Starts Now: Sustain and Scale”, innovators, industry giants, policymakers, and academics gathered in Bengaluru to prove that sustainability and speed can, in fact, share the same fast lane.

⚡ Ather’s Tarun Mehta Honoured — and the Applause Was Electric

Ather Energy’s co-founder and CEO, Tarun Mehta, walked away (or rather, silently glided away) with the “Individual Contributor of the Year 2025” award, in recognition of his relentless efforts to electrify India’s roads and minds. If passion had a battery, his would be 200 kWh and fast-charging.

🧭 Shreyas Shibulal on the Road Ahead

“India stands at a decisive point where clean mobility must evolve from aspiration to acceleration,” said Shreyas Shibulal, Founder & Director of Micelio Mobility. “What we witnessed today reaffirms Micelio’s belief that sustainable transport will define not just the next decade, but the next era of progress.”

Translation: It’s time for everyone — automakers, engineers, investors, and dreamers — to stop talking and start torqueing.

🚗 Maruti Suzuki’s Raman C. V. Gets Reflective (and Predictive)

Taking the stage with four decades of automotive wisdom, Raman C. V. reminded the audience that India’s transformation from 60 cars a day to 7,000 cars a day is no small gearshift. “The next begins now,” he said. “As we move from ICE to EVs, from ownership to shared mobility, the future will be autonomous, agile, and inclusive.”

In short: buckle up, the journey to Viksit Bharat 2047 will be electric — and occasionally autonomous.

🌍 From Germany With Innovation

Jan Kuenne of Grundig Akademie für Wirtschaft & Technik opened the day with global examples of creative sustainability — like repurposed cable cars and self-driving bicycles. “Every visit to Bangalore reminds me why this city is so special,” he said. “The ideas here are shaping clean mobility for the world.”

He might as well have added: “And also, your airport road traffic truly tests one’s commitment to sustainability.”

🔋 A Circular Future — Literally

Micelio unveiled its report ‘Closing the Loop: Building a Roadmap for Battery Circularity in India’, charting how lithium shouldn’t just be mined and forgotten, but reused, repurposed, and recycled. After all, in clean mobility, what goes around must come around — preferably via a regenerative braking system.

🎓 Academia, ARAI & Digital Twins: The Power of Two

A special Knowledge Roundtable featuring experts from ARAI, WRI India, and CAAR emphasized that education must evolve as fast as the EV industry. “The curriculum alone isn’t enough,” agreed experts like Ujjwala Karle and Thiru Srinivasan — reskilling is the real ignition key.

Micelio and ARAI also reaffirmed their partnership through the Digital Twin Lab, a futuristic platform that allows real-time virtual testing of EV technologies — think of it as the metaverse for engineers.

🔥 Fireside Chats and Future Sparks

The day wrapped up with a fireside chat between Tarun Mehta and Kris Gopalakrishnan (Infosys & Axilor Ventures), exploring how investment and innovation can drive a cleaner, smarter India. If conversations could charge batteries, this one would have powered a fleet of Athers.

The Global Clean Mobility Summit 2025 wasn’t just about electric vehicles — it was about electrifying ideas. And if the future truly “starts now,” then Micelio just handed India the ignition key… and a fully charged battery.
