Isuzu Motors India has added another gear to its Maharashtra expansion, inaugurating Index Isuzu — its second dealership in Mumbai. Situated in Borivali West, near SVP College (a location where cars, commuters, and vada pavs coexist in harmony), the brand-new 3S facility brings sales, service, and spare parts together under one roof — or as Isuzu calls it, “Triple the commitment, double the torque.”
Spread across 1,800 sq. ft., the new dealership aims to elevate the ownership experience for Isuzu customers — whether they’re hauling goods or just hauling themselves to Lonavala for a weekend.
The dealership was inaugurated by Toru Kishimoto, Deputy Managing Director, Isuzu Motors India, alongside the Index Isuzu team. To mark the beginning, four proud customers took delivery of their new S-CABs, officially kickstarting operations — and probably a few road trips.
Speaking at the event, Kishimoto said, “We are delighted to strengthen our partnership through the launch of this new dealership in Mumbai. Maharashtra remains one of Isuzu’s key markets, and this facility reinforces our focus on being closer to our customers. We believe in reliable vehicles, reliable service, and relationships that last longer than your warranty.”
Rajan Sharma, Dealer Principal, Index Isuzu, echoed the enthusiasm: “We’re proud to represent the Isuzu brand in Mumbai. Our goal is simple — deliver smiles, service, and vehicles that can outlast traffic jams and construction zones alike.”
Equipped with five dedicated service bays, the facility will cater to the complete range of Isuzu vehicles — from the rugged D-Max to the dependable V-Cross — ensuring every customer gets the attention their pickup deserves.
With this new opening, Isuzu now boasts 92 dealerships nationwide, reaffirming its “Go Anywhere, Serve Everywhere” philosophy.
