CNG-ineered for Greatness: Mahindra’s Bolero MaXX Pik-Up HD 1.9 CNG Hauls Big Dreams (and 1.85 Tonnes)

Mumbai – Mahindra & Mahindra has dropped a payload bomb—quite literally—with the launch of its newest muscle truck, the Bolero MaXX Pik-Up HD 1.9 CNG, priced at ₹11.19 lakh (ex-showroom). It’s India’s first CNG-powered pickup that doesn’t just deliver packages—it delivers a statement.

Heavy-Duty, Light on Fuel

In a world where petrol prices rise faster than your courier delivery ETA, Mahindra’s latest green giant claims a best-in-class payload of 1.85 tonnes and a 400 km range per tank. That’s right—your average city car can barely carry groceries and guilt, while this beast hauls half your warehouse across states without batting a piston.

Under the hood, it packs a 2.5-litre turbocharged CNG engine pushing out 61 kW and a torque-rich 220 Nm between 1,200–2,200 rpm—because what’s a workhorse if it can’t pull a hill and a half?

Connected, Not Just Collected

It’s not all brawn, though. The Pik-Up HD 1.9 CNG is Mahindra’s first-ever CNG pickup to come with iMAXX telematics—a smart connected tech that basically turns your truck into a data nerd. From fuel usage to fleet tracking, it’s all there in real-time, making it your transport manager’s new best friend (and possibly their replacement).

Cabin Fever, But In A Good Way

Mahindra knows the cabin is where truckers spend more time than their living rooms, so they’ve added air-conditioning, a height-adjustable driver seat, and D+2 seating—perfect for the trio of delivery legends who treat truck dashboards like drawing rooms.

And with a 3050 mm cargo bed, you could probably fit your start-up, your old startup’s failure inventory, and still have space left for snacks.

Road Warrior with Leafy Strength

To handle India’s legendary potholes and sudden “what even is this road?” moments, the Pik-Up rolls on 16-inch tyres and features leaf spring suspension at both ends—ensuring that even fully loaded, it remains as composed as a monk on a meditation app.

India’s Favourite Pickup Just Got a Green Hulk Makeover

With unbeatable payload, the promise of CNG savings, cutting-edge telematics, and cabin comforts that make highway dhabas jealous, the Bolero MaXX Pik-Up HD 1.9 CNG isn’t just a pickup—it’s a business partner, road warrior, and mobile office rolled into one.

Mahindra may have just proved that going green doesn’t mean going soft. The future of freight, it seems, smells faintly of CNG.
