Shailender Luthra Takes the Wheel as FADA’s New Delhi Chair—Fasten Your Seatbelts, Auto Retail Just Got a Navigator

New Delhi – The Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) has handed over the keys to its Delhi Chapter to none other than Shailender Luthra—an industry stalwart with enough mileage under his belt to rival a well-loved Royal Enfield. Appointed as the new State Chairperson, Luthra is now officially in the driver’s seat of auto retail reform in the capital.

Known for steering the Brite Group to prominence with marquee brands like Škoda, Nissan, and Royal Enfield, Luthra now has a new assignment: synchronising gears between Delhi’s authorised dealers and the city’s policy pit crew. Expect fewer speed bumps and a lot more torque in discussions with government departments.

“It’s not just a position—it’s an ignition point,” said Luthra, whose vision for Delhi’s mobility scene sounds more like a TED Talk on wheels. “We’re not just driving cars; we’re driving change,” he added, promising a capital-sized transformation that’s equal parts digital, sustainable, and dealer-driven.

Armed with decades of business acumen and an unshakeable belief in collaborative horsepower, Luthra aims to make Delhi the gold standard in automotive retail—where trust isn’t just earned, it’s built into the suspension.

Backed by a team of Regional Directors, he plans to rev up engagement with policymakers, roll out the red carpet for innovation, and re-engineer the auto retail narrative in India’s most scrutinised showroom: the National Capital Region.

FADA, in turn, has reinforced its commitment to giving voice—and volume—to regional chapters. With Luthra now at the helm, Delhi’s auto dealers might just find themselves cruising in the express lane to progress.

So buckle up, Delhi. Your auto retail ecosystem is about to get a tune-up—and Luthra just shifted into high gear.
