Powering the Green Mile: Montra Electric and Magenta Mobility Join Forces to Supercharge EV Logistics in India

Mumbai: In a strategic move that signals a new era for green logistics in India, Montra Electric and Magenta Mobility have entered into a landmark partnership aimed at accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) in the commercial logistics sector. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was officially signed by Saju Nair, CEO of TIVOLT Electric Private Limited (SCV division of Montra Electric), and Maxson Lewis, MD & CEO of Magenta Mobility.

As part of the collaboration, Montra Electric’s SCV division, Tivolt Electric Vehicles, will supply 100 Eviator E350L electric small commercial vehicles (e-SCVs) to Magenta Mobility. These vehicles will be deployed across diverse and high-demand sectors such as FMCG, grocery delivery, e-commerce, and telecom logistics — significantly enhancing Magenta’s operational capabilities.

The Eviator E350L, which recently made its debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, brings to the table class-leading performance, software-defined intelligence, and cutting-edge telematics. Designed with a focus on range, reliability, and driver comfort, the vehicle represents a leap forward in India’s e-SCV segment. Montra will also provide end-to-end support — including tailored service packages and smart charging solutions — to ensure fleet uptime and profitability.

“This partnership with Magenta Mobility is more than a supply agreement — it’s a shared commitment to sustainable transformation in India’s commercial vehicle space,” said Saju Nair. “With the EVIATOR, we’re not just delivering vehicles, we’re enabling a future-ready ecosystem that prioritizes efficiency and total cost of ownership.”

Maxson Lewis echoed the enthusiasm, saying, “At Magenta Mobility, we’ve always believed in building a smarter, cleaner, and more efficient logistics backbone. Partnering with Montra Electric, a brand that mirrors our vision, is a step forward in reshaping how India moves its goods.”

The duo is also introducing what they call India’s first true EV in the 3.5-tonne segment — redefining benchmarks for payload, sustainability, and technology in the category.

As the demand for reliable, scalable, and green mobility solutions grows, this alliance between Montra Electric and Magenta Mobility is poised to redefine the future of EV logistics in India — one kilometre at a time.
