Pune: Stellantis India, the parent company of Jeep and Citroën, has declared a price revision across its entire product lineup, effective January 1, 2025. The adjustment, capped at 2%, will vary by model and is driven by escalating input costs and exchange rate fluctuations.
Shailesh Hazela, Managing Director and CEO of Stellantis India, emphasized the brand’s focus on delivering value while maintaining a premium driving experience. “Both Citroën and Jeep brands are aimed at offering customers greater value to their respective audiences,” Hazela stated. “While the price revision is necessitated by increasing input costs and exchange rates, we remain committed to delivering high quality and a great driving experience.”
An Opportunity Before the Hike
For customers considering a new vehicle, Stellantis India is providing a window of opportunity. Current prices and year-end offers will remain valid until December 31, 2024, allowing potential buyers to lock in lower rates.
The company reassured its dedication to long-term sustainability and value delivery, asserting that the price increase aligns with industry standards. This move is expected to help Stellantis balance operational costs without compromising on quality or customer experience.
With this revision, Stellantis India joins a wave of automakers adjusting prices to navigate the evolving economic landscape.
