Mumbai – Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.’s Farm Equipment Sector (FES) has hit an all-time high in domestic tractor sales, recording 64,326 units sold in October 2024. This impressive achievement marks a significant 30% increase compared to the 49,336 units sold in October 2023.
The cumulative tractor sales, including exports, reached 65,453 units, compared to 50,460 units during the same month last year. International sales contributed 1,127 units to the total, highlighting Mahindra’s growing global footprint.
Hemant Sikka, President of the Farm Equipment Sector at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., credited the milestone to favorable conditions, including a strong monsoon, a successful Kharif crop, high reservoir levels supporting the upcoming Rabi season, and the government’s recent MSP increase on key crops. He noted that the festive season has boosted demand and expressed optimism about sustained growth in the months ahead.
With these record-breaking sales, Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Sector has underscored its leadership in India’s agricultural machinery market and reinforced its commitment to meeting farmers’ evolving needs.
