Automaker registers 4,588 retail sales as it prepares to transition to the Vaahan Portal
Gurugram: JSW MG Motor India revealed that its New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) made up 49% of its total sales for September 2024, reinforcing the company’s growing focus on electric and hybrid offerings. Of the 4,588 retail units sold during the month, nearly half were NEVs, marking a significant milestone for the automaker.
Starting in October, JSW MG Motor India will shift to the Vaahan Portal, streamlining its sales data reporting. The company has consistently shared retail figures since launching operations in India, and this transition reflects the maturity and stability of its reporting process.
While the automotive industry contends with a slowdown due to the Shraddha period and prolonged monsoons, JSW MG Motor India remains optimistic. With the festive season approaching, the carmaker anticipates a rise in showroom footfalls and an uptick in sales, bolstered by consumer enthusiasm during this time of year.
