Nissan Rolls Out Extensive Support for Flood-Affected Car Owners Across India

Automaker Offers Free Roadside Assistance and Special Discounts to Aid Customers During Crisis

Gurugram, 13 August 2024: In the wake of devastating floods sweeping across various regions of India, Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) has unveiled a comprehensive support package aimed at assisting customers whose vehicles have been impacted by the disaster. Demonstrating a strong commitment to its community, Nissan is providing a range of services designed to alleviate the challenges faced by affected car owners.

Central to Nissan’s initiative is the establishment of a dedicated helpdesk specifically tasked with supporting customers whose vehicles have been damaged by the floods. To ensure swift and efficient assistance, the company is offering free Roadside Assistance (RSA) services, which include towing vehicles to the nearest authorized Nissan service centers at no cost.

In a move to further ease the financial strain on its customers, Nissan has partnered with its dealership network to offer a waiver of up to INR 1000 on insurance claim process fees for those affected by the floods. This effort is aimed at simplifying the insurance process and providing much-needed relief during these difficult times.

“Our customers are at the heart of everything we do,” said Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director of Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. “In these challenging times, it is essential for us to stand by them and provide the necessary support. By offering these services and establishing a special helpdesk, we hope to make a positive impact on our customers’ lives as they recover from the floods.”

In addition to these services, Nissan is offering a 10% discount on engine oil and oil filter replacements, as well as a 10% discount on floor carpet replacements for flood-affected vehicles. A thorough vehicle health check-up is also available at authorized service workshops. These special offers will be valid for the next two months, providing ample time for customers to take advantage of the support.
