Aston Martin Welcomes Adrian Hallmark as New CEO in Strategic Leadership Shift

Gaydon, UK – In a significant move within the ultra-luxury automotive sector, Aston Martin has announced Adrian Hallmark as its new Chief Executive Officer, set to take the helm no later than October 1, 2024. Hallmark, a veteran leader in the luxury automotive world, transitions from his role as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Bentley Motors, marking the beginning of a new chapter for Aston Martin under his leadership.

With an impressive track record spanning over two decades across the US, Europe, and Asia, Hallmark’s experience with brands such as Bentley, Porsche, and Volkswagen positions him as a formidable force to drive Aston Martin towards its vision of becoming the preeminent ultra-luxury British performance brand.

The appointment comes as Amedeo Felisa, the outgoing CEO, prepares to pass the baton after steering the company through a pivotal phase of growth and product development. Felisa, under whose leadership Aston Martin has seen the launch of its third next-generation sports car and the completion of a new front-engine portfolio, will remain with the company until Hallmark assumes his new role, ensuring a seamless transition.

Lawrence Stroll, Executive Chairman of Aston Martin, praised both leaders, highlighting Felisa’s significant contributions to the brand’s evolution and expressing confidence in Hallmark’s ability to further Aston Martin’s momentum. Stroll’s remarks underscore a strategic vision for Aston Martin, emphasizing the brand’s commitment to innovation and excellence in the ultra-luxury automotive segment.

Felisa reflected on his tenure with gratitude, expressing pride in the company’s achievements and optimism for its future under Hallmark’s guidance. He acknowledged the support from Stroll and the board, emphasizing the collaborative effort behind Aston Martin’s success.

Hallmark, sharing his enthusiasm for the role, expressed honor in leading Aston Martin’s next phase. He commended the brand’s transformation and is eager to leverage his extensive experience to propel Aston Martin to new heights.

In line with regulatory protocols, Aston Martin will release further details regarding the leadership transition and Hallmark’s remuneration package in accordance with its shareholder-approved policy.

This strategic CEO transition signals Aston Martin’s ambition to reinforce its status in the luxury automotive industry, promising an exciting future under Adrian Hallmark’s leadership.
