The seed for this automotive homage was planted by Michael Schrom, a co-driver in that victorious 2003 race, hinting at the 20th anniversary of their Daytona success just as Porsche announced the new 911 GT3 RS. Bergmeister, seizing the moment, embarked on an 18-month odyssey to create a vehicle that not only celebrates the past but is also a masterpiece of modern engineering and design.
Opting out of the Weissach Package to ensure every panel could be bathed in the original Rivierablue of his Daytona champion, Bergmeister’s creation is a striking blend of history and innovation.
