YOKOHAMA, Japan — In an unprecedented fusion of digital art and automotive design, the 2025 Infiniti QX80 is gearing up to revolutionize the large luxury SUV market. Slated for a grand unveiling on March 20, Infiniti has tantalized fans with ‘Artistry in Motion’, the first chapter of a video series leading up to the launch.
This series promises a sneak peek into the dynamic performance, unparalleled comfort, and cutting-edge technology that the completely redesigned QX80 flagship boasts.
Having first turned heads at the 2023 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance with the QX Monograph concept, the production version of the QX80 is poised to herald a new era for Infiniti.
Embracing a design philosophy dubbed ‘Artistry in Motion’, the 2025 QX80 masterfully blends aesthetics and practicality, stirring emotions while keeping its final look a closely guarded secret.
In a groundbreaking collaboration, Infiniti teamed up with Osaka-based digital artist Kaoru Tanaka to craft an eye-catching pattern that artfully disguises the SUV’s exterior. Tanaka, a self-taught generative artist, lent her unique style to the expansive canvas of the QX80. Drawing inspiration from artistry, technology, and motion, her custom digital creation echoes the fluidity and patterns of human DNA.
Alfonso Albaisa, senior vice president for Global Design, remarked, “Usually, new models are shrouded in camo that conceals, but we believe the 2025 QX80 is too extraordinary for total secrecy.”
The world will get its first full look at the 2025 Infiniti QX80 on March 20, followed by a showcase at the 2024 New York International Auto Show, accessible to the public from March 29 to April 7.
Enthusiasts can look forward to more episodes in the ‘Artistry in Motion’ series, offering provocative glimpses of the all-new 2025 Infiniti QX80.
