IRVINE, Calif., Feb. 21, 2024 – In a move that has automobile enthusiasts revving with excitement, Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) has unveiled the pricing and details for its all-new 2025 Mazda CX-70. This mid-size crossover SUV, set to hit the roads in Spring 2025, boasts a sporty design, an interior that captivates, generous cargo space, and electrified powertrains that promise an exhilarating ride.

The CX-70 lineup starts with the 3.3 Turbo model priced at $40,445. For those craving a bit more oomph, the CX-70 3.3 Turbo S starts at $52,450, while the eco-conscious can opt for the CX-70 PHEV, starting at a cool $54,400. Mazda has also partnered with Qmerit, signaling a firm step towards facilitating home electric vehicle charging.

Engineered specifically for the North American market, the CX-70 is Mazda’s most spacious offering in the two-row crossover SUV segment. It features the e-Skyactiv G 3.3L Inline 6 Turbo engine with a 48-volt M-Hybrid Boost, promising to deliver power and efficiency. Additionally, the e-Skyactiv PHEV option brings Mazda’s commitment to electrification to the forefront.

The CX-70 is more than just a vehicle; it’s a companion for life’s adventures. Remote-folding rear seats and an optimized cargo area with additional compartments make it a breeze to carry gear for hobbies and passions. With Alexa Built-in across all models, Mazda aims to reduce driver distraction and enhance usability.

In terms of design, the CX-70 doesn’t shy away from making a statement. The color palette includes the striking Soul Red Crystal Metallic and Zircon Sand Metallic, and a new Melting Copper Metallic. The interior options are just as luxurious, featuring a tan interior with two-tone accents and a new red option inspired by the 100th anniversary MX-5 sports car.

Safety is a top priority with the CX-70, which comes equipped with Mazda’s i-Activsense safety features, including Smart Brake Support and Mazda Radar Cruise Control. The Premium and Premium Plus packages offer additional safety features like Unresponsive Driver Support and Emergency Lane Keeping.

The PHEV models, in collaboration with Qmerit, promise a seamless transition to electrified driving. With a range of up to 42 km on pure electric power and an impressive 56 MPGe, the CX-70 PHEV also offers impressive towing capabilities.

Finally, the CX-70 3.3 Turbo S Premium and Premium Plus models are the epitome of luxury and power, featuring a 3.3L Inline 6 Turbo engine producing 340 horsepower. These models come loaded with advanced technology and luxury features, ensuring a ride that’s as comfortable as it is thrilling.
