Tata Motors Electrifies Expo with Futuristic Fleet: From Hydrogen Haulers to Electric Elves!

Mumbai, January 31, 2024 – In a bold display of innovation and green technology, Tata Motors, the titan of Indian mobility, is turning heads and charging hearts at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024. The event, a veritable feast of futuristic transport, is being held at the Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from February 1st to 3rd, and Tata Motors is leading the charge with a dazzling showcase dubbed ‘The Future of Mobility.’

As the first global mobility show of its kind in India, the expo is a playground for Tata Motors to flaunt its engineering excellence, design dexterity, and green genius. The company is presenting an exciting lineup of 18 vehicles that are not just ready for the future but are shaping it. Visitors to the Tata Motors Pavilion at stand H14-04 can expect to be wowed by a range of commercial, passenger, and electric vehicles that are safer, smarter, and greener.

From trucks that tread lightly on the earth to SUVs that could outsmart your smartphone, Tata Motors is showcasing its vision for a cleaner, smarter mobility landscape. The commercial vehicle lineup includes India’s most advanced and eco-friendly trucks, buses, and tippers, while the passenger vehicle section boasts the greenest, smartest, and most feature-packed cars, SUVs, and EVs.

Tata Motors is also pioneering the circular economy with its Re.Wi.Re initiative, aimed at recycling end-of-life vehicles. It’s not just about making new vehicles but ensuring they live on in a sustainable way.

Girish Wagh, Executive Director of Tata Motors, summed it up: “We are propelling India towards a future of safe, zero-emission technologies.” Meanwhile, Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director, highlighted their commitment to offering zero-emission powertrains and cutting-edge technologies.

Leading the charge in the SUV segment, Tata Motors unveiled the New Nexon i-CNG Concept, India’s top-selling SUV, now enhanced with turbocharged twin-cylinder technology and an optimally designed boot space. Not far behind, the New Safari #DARK Concept has been revealed, boasting a fresh design and best-in-segment features that raise its premium status.

The Tata Curvv Concept merges SUV ruggedness with the sleekness of a sporty coupe, presenting a dynamic and modern silhouette. Meanwhile, the Altroz Racer Concept transforms the Altroz into a performance-driven machine, with a race car-inspired design and exhilarating performance.

In a demonstration of its commitment to safety, Tata Motors has set up a Safe Journey Pavilion where the Tata Safari Safety feature is showcased through a cut section display, highlighting the vehicle’s top-notch safety features.

The Punch.ev marks a significant milestone as the first pure electric vehicle built on the acti.ev platform, India’s pioneering advanced Pure EV architecture. The Nexon.ev #DARK Show Car, India’s leading EV, debuts in a striking #DARK avatar, embodying game-changing technology, comfort, and performance. The Harrier.ev Concept introduces a bold, intelligent electric SUV with all-wheel drive, promising an uncompromised range and advanced technological features.

In the commercial vehicle sector, Tata Motors continues to push the boundaries with the introduction of eco-friendly and efficient solutions. The Prima 5530.S LNG sets a new standard as the best-in-class LNG-powered commercial vehicle. The Prima H.55S, an industry-first H2 ICE truck, offers an eco-friendly solution for goods transport. The Prima E.28 K and Ultra E.9 are pioneering e-mobility solutions in the construction sector and urban cargo transportation, respectively.

The Ace CNG 2.0 and Ace EV represent innovative strides in the mini truck and urban cargo transportation segments. The Intra Bi-Fuel is India’s first Bi-Fuel pickup, providing the dual benefits of CNG and Petrol. Furthermore, the Magna EV and Starbus Fuel Cell EV, India’s first hydrogen fuel-cell bus, along with the Starbus EV, underscore Tata Motors’ commitment to zero-emission, technologically advanced passenger transportation solutions.
