Nissan Motor India Launches Month-Long Quality Drive to Improve Aftersales Service and Customer Trust

Gurugram: Nissan Motor India Private Limited (NMIPL) is observing World Quality Month throughout November 2026, launching a series of initiatives aimed at improving aftersales service, repair quality and customer satisfaction across its network of 315 sales and service touchpoints in India.

The month-long programme, themed ‘Unmistakable Quality. Every Customer. Every Vehicle. Every Time.’, places particular emphasis on strengthening dealership operations, improving technical expertise and ensuring a more consistent ownership experience.

At the heart of the initiative is Nissan’s ‘Fix It Right the First Time’ approach, which seeks to reduce repeat repairs, improve workshop efficiency and strengthen customer confidence in authorised service centres. After all, most motorists would prefer their vehicles to spend more time on the road than making repeat appearances at the workshop.

Four Weekly Themes to Strengthen Service Standards

Nissan has structured its World Quality Month celebrations around four weekly themes, each addressing a different aspect of its dealership and aftersales operations.

The first, Unmistakable Environment, focuses on maintaining workshop standards and creating efficient service facilities. Unmistakable People emphasises employee development and technical capabilities, while Unmistakable Customer Experience concentrates on improving communication and customer interactions.

The fourth theme, Unmistakable Repair Quality, aims to reinforce inspection procedures, repair accuracy and quality checks throughout the servicing process.

Together, these initiatives are intended to establish more consistent service practices across Nissan’s authorised network while encouraging dealership employees to take greater responsibility for customer satisfaction.

Training, Vehicle Health Checks and Customer Engagement

As part of the celebrations, Nissan will conduct dedicated training programmes for dealership and service personnel, alongside customer education workshops and vehicle health check-up activities.

The company also plans to introduce customer feedback initiatives aimed at identifying service-related concerns and improving communication between vehicle owners and service teams.

These activities form part of Nissan’s broader effort to promote continuous improvement in dealership operations, with particular attention to technical competence, repair efficiency and customer support.

By involving both employees and customers, the programme seeks to address service quality from multiple perspectives rather than limiting improvements to workshop procedures alone.

Quality Beyond the Showroom

World Quality Month has been a recurring initiative for Nissan, bringing dealership and service teams together to reinforce operational standards and encourage a customer-focused approach.

For the Japanese automaker, the latest edition comes with an emphasis on the ownership journey beyond the initial vehicle purchase. The company maintains that quality should extend to every interaction, from routine maintenance and technical repairs to customer communication and aftersales assistance.

The initiative also highlights the increasing importance of aftersales performance in India’s competitive passenger vehicle market, where dependable servicing and transparent customer interactions can influence long-term brand loyalty.

While Nissan has outlined its priorities for November, the effectiveness of the programme will ultimately depend on how consistently these practices are implemented across its service network.

For vehicle owners, the real measure of quality is not simply how well a car performs when it leaves the showroom, but how reliably it is supported throughout its life. Nissan’s World Quality Month 2026 initiative reflects that broader challenge: turning service promises into everyday customer experiences.
