Tesla’s new facility at Skymark One, Sector 98, offers test drives and bookings for the Model Y Premium RWD and six-seat Model Y L, priced from ₹50.89 lakh and ₹61.99 lakh, respectively.
Noida: American electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla has expanded its retail presence in India’s National Capital Region (NCR) with the opening of a new Experience Center at Skymark One in Sector 98, Noida. The facility becomes Tesla’s third sales location in the region, following its existing centres in Aerocity, New Delhi, and Sohna Road, Gurugram.
The new showroom, announced on October 9, allows customers in Noida and neighbouring areas to explore Tesla’s electric vehicles, arrange test drives and place orders without travelling to the company’s other NCR locations.
The expansion comes as Tesla continues to develop its retail and ownership infrastructure in India, combining vehicle sales with charging facilities and access to authorised collision repair services.
Unlike a conventional full-service automobile dealership, however, the Noida Experience Center is exclusively a retail facility. Vehicle collision repairs are handled through separate Tesla-approved centres.
Tesla Model Y Premium RWD and Model Y L Available in Noida
Tesla is offering prospective buyers access to two electric SUVs at the new location: the 2026 Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) and the Model Y L All-Wheel Drive (AWD).
The Model Y Premium RWD, priced at ₹50,89,000, features a five-seat cabin and offers up to 2,138 litres of cargo capacity with its configurable seating arrangement and power-folding seats.
According to Tesla, the electric SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and delivers a driving range of up to 500 kilometres under the Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP).
The company is advertising financing options with a down payment of ₹6,00,000 and monthly instalments starting at ₹39,990, subject to applicable financing terms.
Positioned as a larger alternative for families, the Model Y L AWD features three rows of seats accommodating six occupants. The extended seating configuration is designed to provide additional passenger space and improved flexibility for families requiring more than the conventional five-seat layout.
Tesla claims the Model Y L can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.0 seconds, while offering a WLTP-certified range of up to 681 kilometres. Maximum cargo capacity stands at 2,539 litres.
The six-seat electric SUV starts at ₹61,99,000, with an advertised down payment of ₹6,50,000 and monthly instalments beginning at ₹49,990, subject to financing conditions.
As with all laboratory-based efficiency figures, actual driving range will depend on factors including traffic, weather, driving style and operating conditions.
Tesla Expands Charging Infrastructure Across Delhi-NCR
Alongside its retail expansion, Tesla is developing its charging network to support electric vehicle owners across the National Capital Region.
According to the company, its charging network includes facilities at four locations:
- Tesla Experience Center, Aerocity, New Delhi
- Tesla Center, Sohna Road, Gurugram
- One Horizon, Golf Course Road, Gurugram
- Nexus Select Citywalk, Saket, New Delhi
These locations form part of Tesla’s wider effort to make charging more accessible as its vehicle ownership base develops in the region.
Charging infrastructure remains an important consideration for electric vehicle adoption, particularly among buyers who undertake frequent intercity journeys or do not have access to dedicated home charging.
For Tesla, opening more showrooms may introduce customers to the vehicles, but convenient access to charging facilities will be equally important in converting that interest into ownership.
Collision Repair Facilities Available in Gurugram and Delhi
Although the newly opened Noida Experience Center does not undertake collision repairs, Tesla customers in the NCR can access two approved collision repair facilities.
The Tesla Approved Collision Center Gurugram is located in Sector 18, Sarhol, while the Tesla Approved Collision Center Delhi operates at Shivaji Marg, Moti Nagar, New Delhi-110015.
According to Tesla, these facilities use genuine replacement parts, professionally trained technicians and diagnostic equipment capable of addressing the software-intensive systems found in its vehicles.
Repairs are carried out according to Tesla’s standards, with the company emphasising consistent repair quality and applicable warranty support.
The availability of authorised repair facilities is particularly relevant for electric vehicles, where collision damage may require specialised inspection of battery systems, electronic components and integrated vehicle technology.
Grok AI Assistant and Over-the-Air Updates
Beyond their electric powertrains, both Model Y variants support Tesla’s Over-the-Air (OTA) software update system, allowing the manufacturer to introduce new features and vehicle software improvements remotely.
The vehicles also offer access to Grok, an artificial intelligence assistant that supports several Indian languages.
According to Tesla, supported languages include Hindi, Tamil, Marathi, Gujarati, Telugu and Kannada.
Multilingual AI integration could make certain connected vehicle functions more accessible to Indian customers, particularly those who prefer interacting with technology in their native languages.
OTA updates also enable Tesla to modify and improve supported software functions without requiring owners to visit a dealership for every update.
A Wider Retail Presence in India’s Electric Vehicle Market
With the Noida opening, Tesla now has three retail touchpoints across Delhi-NCR, creating a presence in Delhi, Gurugram and Noida.
The expansion improves geographic accessibility for prospective customers in the region, while the Model Y Premium RWD and Model Y L give buyers a choice between a conventional five-seat electric SUV and a larger six-seat alternative.
However, showroom accessibility is only one part of the electric vehicle ownership experience. Charging availability, after-sales support, repair costs and long-term convenience remain important factors influencing purchasing decisions.
Tesla’s latest expansion illustrates how the company is moving beyond vehicle introductions towards establishing a broader customer-facing network in India. The longer-term significance of that investment will depend not merely on how many people walk into its showrooms, but on how effectively the company supports them after they drive away.
