ChargeZone-Landmark Cars EV Charging Programme to Launch on World EV Day 2026

Mumbai: EV charging network operator ChargeZone has partnered with automotive retailer Landmark Cars Limited to offer charging benefits to customers buying electric vehicles from Landmark dealerships across India, with the programme scheduled to go live on September 9, coinciding with World EV Day.

Under the referral-based programme, eligible customers referred to ChargeZone through a designated code provided at a Landmark dealership will receive 51,000 Charging Credits for use on ChargeZone’s nationwide fast-charging network.

The arrangement is designed to integrate access to public charging into the vehicle-purchase process itself, rather than leaving new EV owners to arrange charging options after taking delivery.

ChargeZone says its network comprises more than 15,000 charging points across India.

Partnership Covers 140 Landmark Facilities

The collaboration will extend across Landmark Cars’ pan-India dealership footprint of 140 facilities in 32 cities across 12 states and Union Territories.

Landmark Cars Limited, listed on the NSE under the ticker LANDMARK, operates in the premium and luxury automotive retail segment. By linking dealership sales with charging access, the companies are seeking to address one of the more practical questions accompanying an EV purchase: where to plug it in once the showroom handover is complete.

Speaking on the partnership, Kartikey Hariyani, Founder & CEO, ChargeZone, said:

“As EV adoption grows in India, building charging infrastructure is only one part of the equation. It is equally important to make that infrastructure easily accessible across the different touchpoints of the EV ownership journey. Automotive dealerships are where that journey begins for most customers, and our partnership with Landmark Cars allows us to bring charging closer to that point of purchase. As we continue to expand our network across highways and cities, partnerships such as this will play an important role in creating a more connected charging ecosystem for EV users across the country.”

The partnership reflects a broader effort among charging operators and vehicle retailers to make charging access part of the sales and ownership ecosystem rather than treating infrastructure as a separate service.

Aryaman Thakker, Executive Director, Landmark Cars Limited, said:

“At Landmark Cars, we believe the transition towards electric mobility requires a strong ecosystem that goes beyond the vehicle itself. Our partnership with ChargeZone is a step towards strengthening the EV ownership experience by making reliable charging infrastructure more accessible to our customers. Through our extensive dealership network, we aim to support the growing adoption of EVs and contribute to building a more convenient, connected and sustainable mobility ecosystem in India.”

ChargeZone Expands Automotive Partnerships

The September 9 rollout forms part of ChargeZone’s wider strategy of connecting charging access more closely with the vehicle-purchase journey.

The company has established charging partnerships with automotive manufacturers and platforms including Tata.ev, Hyundai, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, BMW and VinFast, among others. These arrangements cover vehicles ranging from mass-market EVs to premium and luxury models.

Alongside expanding its charging presence on highways and in urban centres, ChargeZone is also working on interoperability and partnerships with manufacturers, mobility platforms and other ecosystem participants.

For India’s expanding EV market, such dealership-to-charging tie-ups could become increasingly important as the industry’s focus shifts from merely selling electric vehicles to making them easier to own and use. The car may still be the headline purchase, but for an EV buyer, knowing where the next charge comes from is rapidly becoming part of the sales pitch — and, more importantly, the ownership equation.
