Force Traveller Gets a Modern Makeover: New Traveller N Range Debuts with Tech-Loaded Cabin and Enhanced Comfort

Pune — India’s go-to people mover just got a serious glow-up. Force Motors Limited has officially launched the New Force Traveller N Range, reimagining its iconic van for the future of shared mobility—with more comfort, smarter tech, and yes, fewer rattles to keep your conversations (and naps) uninterrupted.

The new Traveller N lineup spans across multiple applications—ambulances, school buses, and delivery vans—essentially covering everything from life-saving missions to school runs where the real challenge is managing energy levels higher than the engine revs.

A Cabin That Finally Feels Like a Car (Almost)

In a move that drivers will particularly appreciate, the Traveller N introduces an all-new car-like cockpit featuring a digital instrument cluster and a 9-inch infotainment system. It’s a big leap from the utilitarian roots of the original Traveller—think less “workhorse” and more “workhorse with Wi-Fi aspirations.”

Comfort has also taken centre stage with ergonomically redesigned seats, improved NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) levels for a quieter ride, and a brand-new HVAC system that promises better cooling—because Indian summers don’t believe in mercy.

New Look, Same Road Presence

On the outside, the Traveller N sports a refreshed design with a new front fascia, DRLs, and LED turn indicators, giving it a more contemporary stance. The rear has also been redesigned, making sure the van looks modern from every angle—even when it’s pulling away in traffic.

Built Stronger, Built Smarter

Under the skin, this isn’t just a cosmetic update. The Traveller N gets a comprehensively re-engineered sheet metal structure, improved BIW (Body-in-White) strength, and fewer body joints—enhancing durability while also improving fit and finish.

Force Motors has also stepped up its manufacturing game with robotics and automated door hemming, ensuring better consistency and build quality. In simple terms, it’s not just tougher—it’s built with more precision than ever before.

Proven Power Meets Practical Innovation

Powering the Traveller N is the familiar yet reliable FM 2.6 CR engine, compliant with BS-VI Stage 2 norms, known for its fuel efficiency and dependability—two things fleet operators care about almost as much as their morning chai.

Adding to the practicality is the inclusion of ‘Force Care’, offering extended warranty, roadside assistance, and accidental repair support, along with ‘iPulse’, which enables real-time tracking and diagnostics—because even vans deserve a digital life now.

Legacy Meets Evolution

With over four decades of legacy and commanding over 70% segment share, the Force Traveller has long been the backbone of India’s shared mobility ecosystem. From ambulances to school buses, it has quietly powered countless journeys across the country.

Speaking on the launch, Managing Director Prasan Firodia highlighted that the new range is shaped by real-world feedback from owners, drivers, and passengers—focusing on comfort, reliability, and reduced downtime.

Bookings Open Soon

The New Force Traveller N Range will be available for bookings across dealerships nationwide starting mid-May 2026, with Force Motors confirming that future production will fully transition to this new-generation lineup.

In short, the Traveller has grown up. It still works hard—but now, it does so with a bit more style, a lot more comfort, and just enough tech to make you wonder why it didn’t get this upgrade sooner.
