New Delhi — In a move that feels a bit like adding extra toppings without increasing the pizza price (almost), Kia India has introduced the refreshed Syros Model Year 2026, aiming to make premium features more accessible while sharpening the SUV’s visual appeal.

Starting at ₹8.39 lakh (₹839,900), the updated Syros MY26 arrives with a revised variant lineup, new design tweaks, and—perhaps most importantly for urban India—greater availability of automatic transmissions, including more accessible diesel automatic trims. Because let’s face it, clutch pedals in bumper-to-bumper traffic are slowly becoming a relic best left in driving school memories.
The Syros MY26 expands its trim portfolio with new options such as HTE, HTE(O), HTK+(O), and HTX(O), offering buyers more flexibility across price points and feature combinations. The brand has also pushed to democratize premium features across variants, ensuring that buyers don’t need to climb too high up the ladder to enjoy creature comforts.
Visually, the MY26 update adds a stronger dose of SUV attitude. The front now gets a sportier bumper with body-coloured aero inserts and glossy black skid plates, complemented by LED fog lamps. At the rear, a redesigned bumper and LED high-mounted stop lamp enhance the overall stance. Along the sides, glossy black roof rails and ORVMs bring a sharper profile, while the HTX and HTX(O) trims introduce new 17-inch crystal-cut alloy wheels with neon-coloured brake calipers—because subtlety is clearly overrated in 2026.
Inside, the Syros continues to lean heavily into its premium positioning. A massive 30-inch Trinity panoramic display dominates the dashboard, paired with over 80 connected car features, OTA updates, and Kia Connect diagnostics. Add to that ventilated front and rear seats, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, and flexible second-row seating with slide and recline functions, and it’s clear Kia wants the cabin to feel less like a car and more like a well-equipped lounge on wheels.
Safety remains a strong talking point, with the Syros carrying a five-star rating from Bharat NCAP, backed by a robust package of over 20 safety features. That means peace of mind comes standard, not optional.
Responding to customer demand, diesel automatic variants are now available from the HTK+ trim onwards, priced at ₹12.73 lakh, widening the appeal for those who want the efficiency of diesel without the workout of a manual gearbox.
The Syros MY26 also introduces fresh colour options, including Magma Red, Ivory Silver Matte, and Ivory Silver Gloss, ensuring buyers have more ways to stand out—or blend in stylishly, depending on their personality.
With compact dimensions tailored for city use, yet offering generous interior space, the Syros continues to position itself as a practical family SUV that doesn’t shy away from a bit of flair. In essence, Kia’s latest update doesn’t reinvent the wheel—it just makes sure more people can afford a better one.
