Mumbai: In a move that might make petrolheads nervously sip their chai a little slower, Tata EV has decided to democratise performance once again. The brand has introduced the Harrier.ev Fearless+ QWD 75, bringing its dual-motor Quad Wheel Drive (QWD) tech to a more accessible price point of ₹26.49 lakh (ex-showroom). In simple terms—your next family SUV might just outrun your neighbour’s “sports car.”
Built on the advanced acti.ev+ pure EV architecture, the Harrier.ev isn’t just flexing numbers—it’s casually dropping them like mic drops. With a hefty 504 Nm of torque and a 0–100 kmph sprint in just 6.3 seconds, this electric SUV delivers performance that feels suspiciously close to supercar territory. Except here, you also get space for groceries, relatives, and possibly your weekend ego.
But the story doesn’t end at straight-line speed. The dual-motor Quad Wheel Drive setup ensures that the Harrier.ev is just as confident off the road as it is at traffic lights. With six terrain modes, Off-Road Assist, and Boost Mode, the SUV is ready to tackle everything from urban potholes (a true Indian off-road test) to actual trails without breaking a sweat.

Inside, the Fearless+ QWD 75 continues to pamper its occupants like a luxury lounge on wheels. From 6-way powered driver seats with memory and ventilated front seats to a JBL Black 10-speaker sound system, the cabin blends tech and comfort seamlessly. Add to that a 360-degree camera, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting, and rear sunshades, and you’ve got an SUV that treats both driver and passengers like VIP guests.
Safety, as expected from Tata Motors, remains a headline act. The Harrier.ev proudly carries a 5-star Bharat-NCAP rating, while the unlimited lifetime battery warranty (up to 15 years for the first owner) ensures that range anxiety and ownership worries are politely shown the exit door.
Speaking on the launch, Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer at Tata Passenger Electric Mobility, highlighted the growing popularity of the Harrier.ev, with over 13,000 units delivered in just six months and more than 100 million kilometres covered across India. Clearly, this isn’t just an SUV—it’s becoming a movement on wheels.
To add a splash of personality, Tata.ev has also introduced a new exterior shade called Seaweed Green—a colour that sounds calm but will likely be seen overtaking you rather quickly.
The new pricing excludes charger and installation costs, with an optional AC fast charger available for ₹49,000. But considering what’s on offer, it’s safe to say Tata.ev has managed to make high-performance electric mobility feel less like a dream and more like a driveway possibility.
Because in 2026, it seems the question isn’t “Should an SUV be this fast?”
It’s “Why wasn’t it already?”
