Mumbai: Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML) has once again cemented its position as India’s undisputed leader in electric commercial vehicles, clocking a fourth consecutive year as the No.1 EV manufacturer in the L5 segment for FY25.
Commanding a 37.3% market share, MLMML’s grip on the segment remains strong despite intensifying competition from both established players and rising startups. The company’s flagship three-wheeler brands, Treo and Zor Grand, continue to drive mass adoption of electric mobility, contributing to a record 24.2% electric vehicle penetration in the L5 commercial segment—up from 16.9% the previous year.
Electrifying Milestones:
- First EV company to cross 2 lakh commercial vehicle sales in India
- Over 1 lakh units sold of the Treo alone, India’s best-selling electric auto
“This is not just a milestone for us; it’s a movement for cleaner, smarter logistics in India,” said a senior MLMML executive.
Expanding the EV Horizon
In a strategic product expansion, Mahindra launched the Treo with a robust metal body, enhancing durability and appeal for urban transporters. Additionally, it introduced the Mahindra ZEO, its first-ever 4-wheeler electric small commercial vehicle (SCV), making a bold entry into the 4W electric cargo space.
The ZEO marks a significant evolution in Mahindra’s EV journey, offering businesses a sustainable alternative for last-mile cargo delivery—reinforcing the company’s commitment to decarbonizing transportation across formats.
As the commercial EV landscape heats up, MLMML’s continued innovation, product expansion, and deep-rooted market presence may keep it miles ahead in India’s electric revolution.
