Hyundai & Genesis Drive Relief Efforts with INR 1.7 Crore Donation And Aid Program for Southern California Wildfire Victims

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif.– In a heartfelt response to the destructive wildfires sweeping through Southern California, Hyundai and Genesis Motor America have unveiled a robust wildfire relief initiative, pledging $200,000 (INR 1.72 crore) in aid to bolster recovery efforts and assist affected residents.

The automakers are directing $100,000 to the American Red Cross and an additional $100,000 to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, ensuring immediate support for evacuees and first responders.

A Commitment Beyond Business
“Southern California isn’t just where we operate—it’s our home,” said Randy Parker, CEO of Hyundai and Genesis Motor North America. “Our focus is on the safety and recovery of our community, including our employees, dealers, and their families, as well as supporting the incredible efforts of first responders.”

This initiative extends Hyundai’s Assurance program, emphasizing its commitment to the well-being of customers and communities. Hyundai Capital America is also stepping in with financial relief options, such as deferred payments, for customers impacted by the fires.

Relief Offers for Fire-Affected Customers
Hyundai and Genesis are providing exclusive purchase and lease incentives for individuals whose vehicles were damaged in the wildfires:

  • $1,000 incentive for a new 2025 Hyundai.
  • $2,000 incentive for a new 2025 Genesis.

Customers can also access extended towing and roadside assistance to ease their transition during these challenging times.

By blending financial support, humanitarian aid, and direct customer assistance, Hyundai and Genesis Motor America are standing shoulder to shoulder with Southern Californians, reflecting a deep-rooted commitment to their community.
