Luxury Automaker Celebrates Hybrid Transition in Major U.S. Market
San Francisco, CA – Automobili Lamborghini hosted an exclusive event in San Francisco to mark the opening of its redesigned showroom, unveiling the latest corporate design and technology upgrades alongside its complete lineup of hybrid vehicles. Highlighting Lamborghini’s shift toward electrification, the event featured the debut of the twin-turbocharged Temerario, the high-powered V12 Revuelto HPEV, and the Urus SE Super SUV, underscoring the brand’s commitment to high-performance hybrids in a top U.S. market.
“California continues to be our most significant market in the U.S., capturing 25% of Lamborghini’s total sales in the first half of 2024,” stated Andrea Baldi, CEO of Lamborghini Americas. “This redesigned showroom aligns with our Direzione Cor Tauri electrification strategy, offering a fitting venue for our fully hybrid lineup and an enhanced experience for our loyal clients.”
The new showroom, located at 620 Du Bois St. in San Rafael, California, integrates cutting-edge technology and Lamborghini’s latest corporate design elements. Alongside its automotive offerings, the showroom provides clients access to Lamborghini’s Collezione fashion line, an array of premium accessories, and an Ad Personam customization room, allowing them to personalize each vehicle with nearly limitless options in colors and materials.
This revamp coincides with a surge in Lamborghini’s global sales, with 5,558 vehicles delivered in the first half of 2024—a 4.1% increase over the previous year. The U.S. market remains the brand’s strongest, accounting for 1,637 units sold.
The unveiling event showcased Lamborghini’s complete hybrid lineup, marking the first time all three models have been displayed together in California since the Temerario’s global debut at Monterey Car Week. This powerhouse lineup includes the Temerario, boasting over 900 horsepower and reaching 0-62 mph in a mere 2.7 seconds; the Revuelto, Lamborghini’s first High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) featuring a 6.5-liter V12 mid-engine paired with three electric motors for a combined output of over 1,000 horsepower; and the hybrid version of Lamborghini’s best-selling Urus SE Super SUV, delivering an impressive 789 horsepower.
This new chapter for Lamborghini, combining power and sustainability, is designed to appeal to a new generation of clients while honoring the brand’s legacy of Italian craftsmanship and innovation.
