In an exciting new offering for adventure enthusiasts, Mahindra has introduced a premium Mocha Brown interior option for its Thar Roxx 4×4 variants, adding a touch of sophistication to the rugged off-roader. This new option, which comes at no additional cost compared to the Ivory interior, is aimed at giving customers more flexibility to personalize their ride while maintaining the same high-end experience.
Both Mocha and Ivory interior themes will feature premium leatherette seats, offering a refined contrast to the rugged exterior of the Thar Roxx. With the rollout beginning on October 3, 2024, customers can book their preferred interior style when purchasing the Thar Roxx, though deliveries for the Mocha option will start slightly later, in January 2025. Ivory-equipped models are set to hit the road as early as October 2024.
Under the hood, the Thar Roxx 4×4 remains a powerhouse, boasting Mahindra’s signature 2.2L mHawk diesel engine. Buyers can choose between two power-packed configurations: the 4×4 manual transmission producing 111.9 kW and 330 Nm of torque, and the more powerful automatic variant generating 128.6 kW and 370 Nm of torque.
Mahindra’s state-of-the-art 4XPLOR technology ensures the Thar Roxx is ready for any adventure, with features like a low-ratio transfer case and electronic locking differentials providing superior traction in even the toughest terrains. The vehicle’s off-road prowess is further enhanced by its impressive 650 mm water-wading capability, multiple terrain modes (including snow, sand, and mud), and a unique Adventure Statistics Display that gives real-time performance data during off-road excursions.
