Crewe, UK: Bentley has unveiled the latest generation of the Flying Spur, and if luxury sedans were competing in a talent show, this one would probably sing opera, sprint like an athlete, and arrive dressed in a tailor-made suit. The British marque’s flagship four-door sedan returns with a sharper design, more power, enhanced craftsmanship, and a renewed focus on performance, proving once again that luxury doesn’t have to be slow.
The new Flying Spur continues Bentley’s tradition of blending handcrafted luxury with extraordinary performance, but this time it arrives with a fresh visual identity inspired by the latest Continental GT family. One of the most notable changes is the return of single front headlamps, a design feature not seen on a Bentley sedan since 1962. The updated front fascia also features a grille integrated into the bumper, cleaner body surfaces, and a more contemporary appearance that gives the sedan a sleeker and more modern stance.
At the rear, Bentley designers have introduced a redesigned boot lid, new taillamps, and a body-coloured number plate surround. Fresh 22-inch wheel designs further enhance the premium appeal, while the newly introduced Dark Teal exterior colour adds a sophisticated blend of blue and green hues that perfectly complements the car’s sculpted surfaces.
Underneath the elegant sheet metal lies a serious performance machine. The latest Flying Spur is built around Bentley’s advanced V8 hybrid powertrains, while the return of the Flying Spur S injects an extra dose of excitement into the lineup.
The new Flying Spur S becomes the most powerful S-badged Flying Spur ever created. Its High Performance Hybrid setup delivers a massive 680 PS and 930 Nm of torque, representing nearly 20 percent more power than its predecessor. The result is sports-car-rivalling acceleration, with the luxury sedan capable of sprinting from 0-100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds before continuing to a top speed of 307 km/h (191 mph).
To ensure the performance matches the numbers, Bentley has equipped the Flying Spur S with its sophisticated Performance Active Chassis. The package includes Active All-Wheel Drive, Bentley Dynamic Ride active anti-roll technology, torque vectoring, twin-valve dampers, and, for the first time on a Flying Spur S, an electronic limited-slip differential. In simple terms, this limousine can corner with surprising enthusiasm while still treating passengers like royalty.
The sporty intentions are immediately visible. The S model receives Bentley’s Blackline Specification, gloss black matrix grilles, darkened exterior trim, black Bentley badges, smoked LED headlamps, dark-tinted taillamps, and black exhaust finishers. It looks less like a chauffeur-driven sedan and more like a luxury jet wearing a tailored black tuxedo.
Inside, Bentley’s craftsmen continue to remind the automotive world why the company remains a benchmark in bespoke luxury. Buyers can choose from five distinct seat designs, each requiring approximately 12 hours of handcraftsmanship. Whether customers prioritise ultimate comfort or a more performance-oriented environment, Bentley’s artisans have created a seating configuration to match.
For customers who believe music should sound as luxurious as the leather surrounding them, Bentley has introduced the Virtuoso Collection. Available in three themes—Soprano, Tenor, and Bass—the collection combines unique embroidery, Champagne Gold accents, and the latest Naim for Mulliner audio system.
Originally developed for the ultra-exclusive Bentley Batur, the Naim for Mulliner setup features 21 speakers and incorporates technology derived from Focal’s flagship Grand Utopia home audio systems. The result promises one of the most immersive in-car listening experiences available today. Bentley has even added Champagne Gold detailing to everything from the winged badges and exhaust finishers to the vehicle key itself—because apparently regular luxury wasn’t quite luxurious enough.
Production of the new Flying Spur will begin at Bentley’s historic Crewe facility in September 2026, with customer deliveries scheduled to commence during the fourth quarter of the year.
