Goa: Mercedes-Benz India is strengthening its footprint in one of India’s most aspirational luxury markets with the inauguration of South Goa’s first state-of-the-art luxury service facility in Margao. Operated by Counto Motors, the new facility marks a strategic expansion beyond the brand’s existing 3S setup in Ribandar, North Goa.
Located in Margao—the commercial capital of Goa—the new workshop is more than just a service centre; it’s a signal that South Goa is fast shifting gears into a serious luxury car hub. Speaking on the occasion, Shekhar Bhide, Vice President, Customer Services, Mercedes-Benz India, highlighted Goa’s growing importance as a luxury market driven by evolving customer aspirations. He noted that the new facility reflects the brand’s commitment to delivering a refined and personalised service experience rooted in trust, prestige, and excellence.
Spread across 8,598 sq. ft., the Margao facility features four service bays, including dedicated PMGR (Premier Maintenance & General Repair) bays, ensuring quick turnaround times. It is equipped with advanced diagnostic systems such as XENTRY and Digital Service Drive tools, enabling real-time updates and transparent servicing—so customers know exactly what’s happening under the hood, without needing to peek in themselves.
The facility also offers a comprehensive range of services, including periodic maintenance, advanced diagnostics, genuine parts replacement, and digital job card creation. Add to that pick-up and drop services, warranty support, and personalised consultations with trained service advisors, and it becomes clear—this is less of a workshop and more of a luxury spa day for your car.
Aakash Khaunte, Director of Counto Motors, emphasized that the new Margao facility brings the brand closer to customers in South Goa, aligning with rising demand for premium mobility and ensuring a seamless sales and after-sales experience in line with global standards.
This expansion is part of Mercedes-Benz India’s broader growth strategy, which includes launching 12 new products and opening 20 new dealerships across the country in 2026. Clearly, the German luxury carmaker isn’t just cruising—it’s accelerating.
